Suddenly getting a call from someone who was supposed to be in an important meeting,left Mo Xiaye startled for a while even to the point of missing the call.

The sound of the ringtone coming on again woke her up from her stupor.

" Hello!" Before she could say anything to the person at the other end,she already received a greeting that sounded too high pitched to be normal.

It was obvious that the other party was nervous and finding it hard to control his emotions. She just didn't know what the source of his nervousness was.

"Hey Ting. You sound disoriented what happened? You also mentioned something about an important meeting today. Why did you suddenly call? " Mo Xiaye asked unable to control her curiousity.

She cannot really be blamed because anyone would be surprised to hear one of the most successful men in the entire city— probably the country even— sounding so nervous .

" I..huh.." Came Zhou Ting's stammer in place of a response further intensifying Mo Xiaye's curiosity.

Meanwhile, Zhou Ting who sat behind his office desk making the call was all red in the face out of embarrassment. He couldn't even remember the last time he reacted that way to any situation; not even when he was in a position to be super embarrassed at a particular event or time.

Well there's always a first time for everything our dear CEO Zhou.

"You know what? I'll call you back some other time." Zhou Ting said and without giving Mo Xiaye a chance to say anything, he hung up before dashing straight into the bathroom and was splashing water onto his face in no time.

After calming down for a while,he looked into the mirror and couldn't believe the person he had become in the last few days. Although both his parents were still in a coma in the hospital, he could see that he was gradualling breaking free from the walls he had once built around himself in the past.

Ironically,he liked this new feeling a lot.Even though it wasn't usually a feeling associated with people of his status, but who cares about all that when he could have family by his side! He couldn't help but to let out a burst of laughter the kind he hadn't had for a really long time. He had to admit it felt good.

Returning to his desk, Zhou Ting dialled Mo Xiaye's number again much calmer than the previous time.

" Hello again." He said into the phone when she picked up.
