Chu Yichen tossed the documents on the marble coffee table.

"Wearing such a short dress and all dolled up to pour wine for a guest. If it's not what I think, what should it be? Do you think I've never been to such places?!"

Li An'an retorted. "Oh, wouldn't that mean you often cross the line with the waitresses in the Imperial Palace. That's why you think that way. So that's how it is? But I'm different from you. We're not the same sort of people!"

Chu Yichen studied her sly little face, staring at her like a king of the night. He then stated matter-of-factly, "I'm afraid you've forgotten, we had a deal the night before yesterday!"

Li An'an was shocked. "What deal? I was just joking that night. Besides, you haven't paid yet? It doesn't count."
