69 Epilogue

My name is Yun Kang-Dae. And somehow over the years, I became a reformed individual. I gained true happiness. I achieved my dreams as a renowned architect. I'm still rich as Croesus, I have a beautiful wife and a brood of vibrant children who tells me they love me every day.
Change can be a good thing — life's gift to us in this unfair world.
My parents were a walking advertisement for a speedy divorce, killing any expectations I had of love. I even went along with a loveless first marriage and had a son out of cold obligation.
What a nightmare.
Until I met my hellcat, my wife.
It turns out the only woman I ever fall in love with, is madly and irrevocably in love with me too. And I thank my lucky stars for that.

"Dae! Come down, quick!" My wife screams from below.
Scrambling to my feet, I rush down the stairs. "Is it the baby? Is she coming?"
Aera stands by the window, the phone resting on her rounded belly. Tears stream down her face. Worried, I pace to her side. "What's wrong?"
"It's the hospital." Her blurry eyes meet mine, miraculous joy making the blue more prominent. "Dad's awake! The doctor wants us to head over right now."
This is wonderful news. Yang Suk-Chin has been asleep for nearly six years. It's about time he returns to the world of the living.
"Call your mom and grab our coats." I plant a comforting kiss on her forehead. "I'll get the children."
