Kian stood up at that. He was not hiding anything from her. Not that anything of importance.
"Oh there is...there is a secret. And you are still denying me of that."
Tinsley rose her voice up and he tried to hold himself back too. She was testing his calmness. She was really pushing him this time.
"I'm not keeping anything from you...you need to trust me on this. "
He softened his voice to try to get her calm. It was obvious that talking to her like that, in that same state was not going to take them anywhere.
"You have some real guts to tell me that to trust you!"
She snapped at him after a moment of silence and then headed out of the study before he could say anything anymore.
"Fucking Hell!"
He cursed when she got out, closing the door shut with a loud thud letting him know that there was waiting for hell for him back in their bedroom.
