The press conference for the Variety show was held in a hotel with the director and cast present. The Director introduced the show and the cast and the press began asking a question to both the director and the cast.

Most of their questions, however, were directed to Bai Zhenzhen and Tommy Lee who were the most popular artist in the cast. Tammy Lee was a popular musician who was now venturing into the movie industry.

He had already started in four tv-series and like Bai, Zhenzhen was participating in the Variety show for wider exposure. The rest of the casts were relatively new artist fresh out of B City art academy.

The journalist most asked how she was doing in Phoenix entertainment and if she was taking part in any Production currently in the works. She replied that she wasn't involved in any Production at the moment but she had two that would be premiering soon.

After answering the questions from the press the director and cast posed for a photo then announced the press conference over.

Four day's later they flew to a village in H city and began filming. They filmed for three weeks then wrapped and moved into post-production. Bai Zhenzhen flew back to B city a day after the wrap party.

She wanted to surprise Zhou Jianyu so she didn't inform him that she was flying back to B city. She had already gotten a copy of his schedule from his assistant Xiaobo so on arriving in B city she headed to the supermarket to buy some food ingredients before going over to Zhou Jianyu's house.

She had already spoken with Aunt Mu and arranged everything. When she got to the front door she rang the doorbell and Aunt Mu responded letting her in. After telling her where to get the ingredients Aunt Mu grabbed her things and went back home.

After the day's work, Xiaobo drove Zhou Jianyu back home the headed back home. Zhou Jianyu opened the door and walked into the room when he noticed female sneakers and became alert. He walked over to the living room and saw Bai Zhenzhen lying on the couch asleep.

"Zhenzhen," he said surprised and walked closer, hearing his footstep Bai Zhenzhen opened her eyes and sat up gently.

"Jianyu you're back," she said smiling. "Yes I thought you were still in H city," He said squatting to her eye level so she doesn't strain her neck.

"I got back today. I wanted to surprise you. You must be starving, let's go I made us dinner" she said standing and grabbing his hands walked quickly to the kitchen dragging him with her.

"Sit," she said pointing at the chair. He walked over and took sat watching her run around setting up the dishes.

After everything was set she sat next to him and handed the chopsticks over. "Sorry I know it's not much but bear with me this is the only meal I can prepare. I don't have much talent in cooking" she said smiling shyly.

"It's nothing," He said taking a bite of the meal and said "It tasty" and continued eating.

"That's good, if you ever feel like eating Noddles let me know" she smiled and began eating.

Zhou Jianyu raised his head and watched her eat, she looked like a beautiful dream. He had no idea how much he missed her until he walked into the living room and saw her lying on the couch. It was like a bomb had exploded in his heart.

If he had his way he would never let her out of his sight but this was her dream so he has to help her achieve that. He dropped the chopsticks and pulling out his chair startling her.

He stood and dragged her out of the chair began kissing her. After getting over her surprise she wrapped her hands around his neck and deepened the kiss.

They continued until she began feeling breathless and he moved down to her neck dropping little butterfly kisses.

After some time she pulled him back up and began kissing him, Jumping up and wrapping her legs around his waist.

She was so carried away that she didn't notice when they got into his bedroom until he pulled back and resting his forehead on hers breathing heavily he said "do you want to do this. Once you do this there's no going back, You're mine and nothing can separate us".

"am ready, you ate my first and last," she said replied and began kissing him again.

"Zhenzhen wake up you have a phone call from Wenling," He said the next morning waking her. It was her manager so he knew that it could be work-related.

She opened her eyes and making a face accepted the phone and picked up the call "Sister Wenling" She said drowsily.

"Zhenzhen hello sorry for calling so early but can you come into the company this morning at 10 am to go over a contract," Her manager said.

"Okey sister Wenling, I will be there" She replied.

"Okey sees you then," Her manager said and cut the call.

"she called you into the office. you must have gotten some work" He said

"Yes am meeting her at 10 am," She said. "That's four hours from now you can get some sleep I will wake you up at 8:30 am," He said placing a kiss on her forehead.

True to his words he woke her by 8:30 and she began getting ready, he had even provided her with a gown. After taking a hot bath she felt better, Zhou Jianyu had kept her up most of the night the man was insatiable.

She found it difficult to liken him to the very serious Zhou Jianyu everyone saw. After getting dressed, they had breakfast and then headed to the company Zhou Jianyu gave her a ride to park at the underground parking lot to avoid being seen.

Bai Zhenzhen went up first and headed to the topmost floor where her Manager's office was located. Her manager was the Director of Phoenix Entertainment so she was very busy.

She managed only four artists including Bai Zhenzhen. The fact that she was her manager was a good sign that Zhou Jianyu had a hard with that and she was aware of their relationship.

"Sister Wenling Hello" Bai Zhenzhen said as she walked into her Manager's office and took a seat opposite her.

"Zhenzhen welcome back how was everything," Sister Wenling said smiling. "It was good and how have you been" she replied.

"Good, okay busy. So we got an offer from a cooking program [The Chef's cookbook] as a host alongside Suying. It's a cooking program that invites popular chefs to teach the public how to produce different dishes.

"Zhenzhen this is good, as the co host, you don't need to fight with anyone for camera time you both get equal treatments. The program is pre-recorded so it won't interfere with your other responsibilities. I already discussed with the station What do you think" Sister Wenling said.

"Okay let's do it" Bai Zhenzhen replied smiling. "I will inform the network meanwhile you were invited by the director to take part in the Promotional event for [My Deskmate]. You'll have to leave by next week" Sister Wenling said "Okay I'll get ready" Bai Zhenzhen replied.
