GOOD LUCK LISA.

"Are you freaking kidding me?" I exclaimed while reading my boss' message. He's asking me to fetch him at the restaurant where he's at.

"What's wrong?" Jaoquin asked with worried eyes.

"I'm sorry babe, but I have to go." I said as I shove back my phone inside my bag and fished out a small brown envelope and handed it to him. "This is your allowance for two weeks, if you need more just tell me okay?" I said in a rush and cupped his face and give him a quick peck in his lips.

"Wait—."

"I'll call you later." I said and hailed a taxi. I jumped inside when it stopped in front of me. I told the driver the address and he stepped on the gas hard and drove away. I looked back to where I left my boyfriend and he's just standing there with his mouth agape and looking at the taxi where I am, then he shook his head and turned his heels.

I huffed a sharp breath when I turned around and faced ahead me. "Did you have a fight with your boyfriend?" The driver asked.

"No, I just suddenly needed to meet my boss." I sighed.

"Well, work problem." The driver chuckled. "I get that a lot."

"People used to have it a lot." I replied and looked outside the window with sad and disappointed eyes.

It seems that I'm with Joaquin for just 20 minutes and I have to leave him alone in the street. For the record, we haven't spent so much time together since I started working as a secretary of such an asshole CEO. He always calls me in most unexpected circumstances.

I remember one time, I'm with Joaquin and we were having intense moment inside a hotel room since it was our anniversary, but the CEO called me over just to fucking accompany him to a mall because he wanted to buy a gift for his wife, who seems don't even care about him.

I don't know about his wife, but I heard that after the wedding on the same day. Mrs. Kim decided to fly to New Zealand and have a honeymoon all by herself while my boss stayed here in Korea. That's all I know, I didn't know the whole story because Jinsoo didn't want to tell us. She's my best friend but she still respects Timothy and Mrs. Kim's private life. I didn't ask further anyway as I'm not really interested in their life. I have my full on my table so thinking about other people's life isn't my thing.

The driver snapped me out from my trance when he said that we're already in front of the restaurant. I pay him the fare and step out of his taxi. As soon as I stood in front of the entrance, I heaved a deep breath and exhaled exasperatedly before entering inside.

A hostess greeted me with a cute smile and I returned the smile and told her that I am here for my Boss. She guided me to my boss who's inside the VIP room with his best friend.

I knocked three times before I pushed the door open. "Good noon gentlemen." I bowed my head before looking at my boss. "You called for me, sir?"

"Yes, finally. I asked you to be here because I want you to call my wife." He said with his infamous smile that I hate the most. My mouth fell open in mocked surprise but I cleared my throat to recompose myself.

I mean, he can call his wife on his own! It's his wife! He could've just dial Mrs. Kim's number! What does he need me for?!

I heaved another breath and exhaled slowly with a forceful smile. Seriously? I have never wanted to smack my boss's head until now.

"Sir, you have your wife's number." I said.

"Yeah I know, but she wouldn't answer any call coming from me nor from Jim." He said, his smile never faded. It's disgusting.

"Okay then, I'll call her." I said and held out my palm. He looked at me confusedly but didn't say anything. "I don't have her number, may I know from you what's her number?" I said.

"She's also your boss. How come you don't have her number?" Timothy chuckled.

"Sir, when I first started as your secretary, I haven't heard anything from your wife, except from her secretary, should I call her instead?"

"Yeah, do that." Timothy said and I nodded my head at him. I was about to dial his wife's secretary but he stopped me from doing so. "Wait, call Ruby Jane instead." He said and handed me his phone.

I frowned but I tried not to show him and smiled quickly before taking his phone to get his wife's number and starting dialing. It took five rings before someone picked up the call and I swear to all the gods up there, if there is sexier than the husky voice of Lee Jieun, a korean soloist singer. It'll be Mrs. Kim's voice, in her hoarse bedroom voice.

"What?"

"Good afternoon Ma'am. This is Lisa Murphy, your husband's secretary—." I didn't had the chance to finish what I was saying when the lines suddenly were cut off. I looked at my phone with furrowed eyebrows then looked at my boss. "She hung up on me."

"That's mean." Timothy said and they both laughed. "I really like how fierce she is."

"She has always been like that since then." Jim said and he looked at me. "Why don't you join us? Have you eaten lunch?"

I really wanted to say that I haven't eaten anything because his best friend suddenly called me just to call his wife and get the hang up!

"Thank you Sir, but I'm already full." I politely declined and bowed my head. "I'll just wait outside." I said.

"No, don't. You should join us. After all, I ruined your lunch." Timothy said and for the first in my career since I started my job as his secretary. This is the first time that he invited me to eat with him. I don't know if he's sick or if he's really polite in front of his best friend. "Come on, you can sit with me, I know that you want it for so long." He added which made me frown.

"What?" Mr. Jim asked ludicrously.

"You know, she's been my secretary for almost a year and I know that she's dying to eat with me." Timothy said cockily. I almost gag, but I refrain myself. Instead, I smiled at him, the kind of smile that everyone would notice how disgusted I am to whatever he said about me.

"Sir, I'm full. I'll wait outside." I insisted and without waiting for them to answer, I turned my heels and hurried my way out of the room and slammed the door.

"Damn, she wasted her chance while I'm being generous." I heard Timothy and his best friend laugh obnoxiously.

"What the hell? Does he really think that I have a crush on him? Ew." I shuddered at that thought and huffed a sharp breath before walking out of the restaurant.

"Lisa? What are you doing here?" Bobby, who's standing on the corner while nipping a cigarette in his chapped lips. He had a long stroke and was about to kill it but I stopped him. I walked towards him and stole the cigarette from his hand and hit it, I huffed the smoke through my nose and did it once again. "Whoa, what happened?" He chuckled while looking at me amusedly.

"Your boss is such an asshole and his wife is such a bitch!"

"Okay? What's going on?" Bobby asked curiously.

"I was having a lunch date with Jaoquin and he decided to ruin it by calling me just to call his wife with my phone, but Mrs. Kim hung up on me!"

"The last one isn't surprising, but why didn't he call his wife on his own?"

"Exactly! What is he up to?!" I groaned and hit one long stroke before throwing the butt onto the bin. "And the worst is, he assumed that I like him!"

"What's new about that? He always assumes that everyone likes him." Bobby chuckled as he sprayed perfume in his body to cover the scent of cigarettes. "Mind if I spray you too?" He asked.

"Why?"

"He really hates cigarette smell." He said.

"Damn that Narcissistic guy!" I hissed and grabbed the perfume and sprayed it on my whole body.

Timothy and Mr. Park came out of the restaurant, both laughing out loud. Bobby quickly ran to open the door for him in the backseat.

"Let's meet each other again later sometimes." Timothy said to his best friend before he went inside the car and Bobby closed the door.

"I'm sorry about earlier." Mr. Park said when he stood next to me."

"No worries, I'm used to him being like that." I chuckled and bowed my head before getting in the car.

When we arrived at the company, I immediately noticed the familiar car that parked at the far corner of the parking lot. I smiled widely as I get off. I wanted to run inside to meet the owner of the car but I needed to walk behind the CEO. So I waited for him to walk ahead before Bobby and I followed him behind.

Everyone in our way is greeting him, but he never responds. All of his employees know that he is such an asshole. So once the CEO turns his back to his employees, they will either frown or roll their eyes.

All I can do is to bite my lower lip to suppress my laugh. He is really full of himself, thinking that everyone likes him but it's the opposite.

The elevator is full of employees but when they saw the CEO, they immediately stepped out of it and Timothy went inside, then Bobby and I squeezed ourselves on the side so we could get behind him.

"Those people couldn't take their eyes off of me." Timothy said and I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Because you're too handsome." Bobby said and I almost snorted.

"You are so right." Timothy said smugly and he looked at me through the reflection of the elevator door. "He's right." He said, as if he's forcing me to agree with Bobby. So I smiled and nodded my head.

The elevator door opens and we are still walking behind him until we reach his office. Bobby opened the door for him and he spread his arms as soon as he saw his cousin.

"I've been waiting for ages!" The woman sitting in the CEO'S chair, said. "What took you so long Timothy?!"

"You are supposed to hug me first. I'm your cousin, not your employee." Timothy scoffed as he made his way to Jamie.

Jamie scoffed and rolled her eyes, but when she saw me, her lips stretched out widely but quickly replaced with a frown. "You ditched us!" She scowled.

"I—."

"My bad, I had lunch with my best friend." Timothy said, which cut me off.

"I wasn't talking to you." Jinsoo scoffed and she made her way towards me. "I heard that you had a date?"

"Well.."

"She refused to date me." Timothy said.

"When will you shut your damn mouth?" Jinsoo said irritatedly and she looked over his shoulder. "Wait— did you ask my best friend to have a date with you?"

"It's not a date, it's just a polite invitation to have lunch with the most handsome and perfect guy in the world."

"And she refused." Jamie laughed mockingly. Then she looked back at me. "You better not ditch us tonight, Lisa Murphy." She said and all I can do is to nod my head at her. "Okay then, let's start this meeting because I still have to run some errands."

Timothy frowned and slumped his shoulder since he never received the hug he's been asking since he stepped inside his office. I wanted to laugh, I'm telling you, but I can't. He's my boss even if his cousin is my best friend, I still need to show respect to him.

Our meeting starts, and Timothy and Jinsoo talk seriously. As if they are different people from the people we know. If it's about business, there is no doubt that my boss is the most successful businessman at his young age.

After about half and an hour, the two finally sealed their deal with a handshake. Jinsoo will send the contract through my email and I just have to print it and Timothy will sign it.

"I have to go, see you later Lisa." Jinsoo bids and pulls me for a hug. Timothy spread out his arms once again but Jinsoo just looked at him dead in the eye then shook her head. "No, Timothy." She said before leaving the room.

"Bitch." Timothy groaned and plops his butt down to his chair, then his gaze darted up to me. "What's my next schedule?" He asked.

"You have a meeting with your wife." I said.

"Okay, call her and leave me alone." He said, so I quickly complied. I ran to his side and booted on his laptop and dialled his wife through Skype. I waited for Mrs. Kim to answer the call so I stood in my same spot while staring at the screen.

"I'll take it from here." Timothy said and he turned the laptop in front of him, so I didn't got the chance to see Mrs. Kim.

Actually, I have never seen her. There are no pictures of her around the CEO's office, even on the internet. So I really had no idea what she looked like. It's not like I'm interested, but sometimes, I get curious. I heard a lot of humour about her.

I heard that she's really a bitch, she never smiles, she never looks into people's eyes, she never talks and she never lets people get near her. Is she really that scary?

Timothy waved his hand to dismiss us when I heard that someone finally answered the call on the other line.

"I'm going home, so you better not be there once I arrive."

I halted my steps upon hearing those mean words from Mrs. Kim, but Bobby pulled me to continue our way out of the CEO's office and he shut the door gently.

"Is she really that bitch?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yes and sadly, she'll be your boss for the time being until we come back." Bobby said and my jaw dropped with what he said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Boss Timothy is leaving for California next week." He said and tapped my shoulder. "Good luck, Lisa."
