31 Mummy loves you

She turned her attention to her sleeves to find a cutie staring at her with teary eyes and a snort dangling from her nose.

" Aunty can you help me." A little girl not older than six years old asked Venessa with teary eyes. The girl's face was stained with tears and she kept on snorting.

Venessa could not ignore such a cutie. She always had a soft spot for cute things which is why she easily got along with Alyssa because of her cute approach.

When she was little her parents got her a Pomeranian with soft white fur which she adored for her birthday but unfortunately, after her parents died she had to sell her dog because Aunty Karissa was not as financially stable as her parents. So there was no way Karissa could afford the dog food, medical treatment for the dog and other things required to keep it.

Venessa was reluctant to sell it since the dog was a gift from her late parents but she had to when she discovered how difficult it was for Aunty Karissa to cater for her and Zayn. She did not want to be too much of a burden since she was imposed on Karrisa.

Venessa squatted down to reach the little girl. " What do you want Aunty to do for you." She asked with a soft smile so that she wouldn't scare the little girl away.

The little girl broke into tears when she heard Venessa. She started crying. She was lost and could not find her mother who she had come with to the mall. She has been searching the ground floor and car park area since her mother disappeared there.

" I can't find my mummy!!!" The girl cried increasing her voice and drawing more attention to Venessa. She was cleaning her eyes and sniffing her nose as she spoke.

" Mummy was with me and holding my hand but we got separated in the crowd. Now I can't find her." The girl continued to cry. She was scared that her mother had abandoned her in the mall.

Venessa listened attentively to the cute girl able to get a grasp of the situation about what the little girl needed. It seemed like the girl got separated from her mother and can't find her now.

" Don't worry we will find your mother," Venessa tried to comfort the girl but her words didn't affect the girl as the girl started sobbing loudly. " My mummy doesn't want me anymore because I said I wanted new toys because I didn't like my old ones." The girl cried more despondently.

" Don't say that your mummy would never do that because she loves you." Venessa hugged the little girl. The girl's loud cries were attracting more attention to Venessa. Passers-by started murmuring about how careless and horrible person Venessa was to make the girl cry so loudly.

Venessa rolled her eyes at their comments there was no need way she could convince them either way, she had to help this little girl and still keep her appointment with her client who was running late.

After the girl snobs had reduced " Are sure you she is not angry and have not abandoned me." She said, " Chelsea is a bad girl for stressing mummy." The little girl named Cheslea whined to Venessa in a very soft voice just loud enough for the both of them to hear. She sniffed and wiped her eyes with the back of her palm after whining to Venessa.

Venessa Chuckled at the girl's cute behaviour, there is no way any mother would leave such a darling. " I am very sure there is no way your mummy would leave someone as cute as you, Chelsea." Venessa pinced the child's soft cheeks receiving a cute giggle from the girl.

The girl's eyes were watery and her nose was red from crying about her mummy. Venessa stood up and held the girl's little hand. Which was a very soft touch. " Come on, let's go find your mummy. I am sure she is scared and searching for you everywhere."

Venessa wondered how careless the mother was to lose her daughter here but she was in no place to complain about how someone takes care of their child. She had never taken care of a child before.

The little girl nodded at Venessa, she felt this aunty was a nice person that would help her.

"Lilac Davison," Venessa heard someone call her family fantasy user name. She turned to the source of the voice.

"Who is asking?" She asked the lady standing now in front of her.

" Hey, I am Jemima Peters, you are Lilac right because your description matches what I was given." The lady showed Venessa the previous chat with her.

" Yeah I am Lilac," she replied. " I am so sorry for keeping you waiting. I ran into traffic. By the way who is cutie with you." Jemima explained her reasons for being as she bent down to Chelsea.

" I am Chelsea," the girl shyly answered. " She is lost and I want to her find her mother," Venessa explained to Jemima.

" Okay that's fine, we should go to the security office to report she is a missing child. They might use the CCTV cameras on her mother." Jemima suggested. Venessa agreed with Jemima that was the best course of action.

The group of three found a security guard near the mall entrance and explained everything thing to him. The guard readily assisted them and took them to the security room.

" Do you know the shops you and your mummy visit?" The staff in charge of the CCTV room asked Chelsea about her and her mother's movements in the mall to make it easy to trace their whereabouts.

He was already informed of the situation. Chelsea started describing where they went. Although she did not know the exact name of the shop it was easy to guess which shop they were from the floor description and the goods and services being offered there.

Chelsea and her mother were actually in the mall to get Chelsea a new pair of shoes so all the shops they visited were shoe stores. Her mother was eye shopping from different shops to find the best alternative before she finally chose one.

After they were done her mum got her some snacks before they headed out of the mall Chelsea started whining about getting new toys when they went past a toy shop that caught Chelsea's eye.

With the description given by Chelsea one of the staff on watch started going through different CCTV footage to find Chelsea's mother. Venessa and Jemima patiently waited for the security guards in the CCTV room to search for Chelsea and her mother. Chelsea was standing by the staff side carefully studying everyone on the CCTV camera footage.

Everyone was patiently waiting until a commotion suddenly started that attracted everyone's attention.

A crying lady was causing a ruckus with some guards. Chelsea heard the crying voice and immediately recognized it. She ran from where she was to the entrance before screaming "Mummy!!"

The lady would was having a verbal fight with the security guards heard Chelsea's voice and immediately broke into tears. Chelsea jumped into her mother's arms and started crying and promising her mother that she would behave better.

"Mummy I was scared you didn't want me anymore." Chelsea cried. The woman who was hugging Chelsea hugged her tighter and shook her head. " Mummy who never did that, I will always love, you Chelsea."

Their reunion was heartwarming, and the mother and daughter pair cried more in each other's arms. One dared to separate them.

Chelsea's mother was so scared when she realized she wasn't holding Chelsea's hand anymore, she grew anxious and started searching for Chelsea immediately but it was hard to find a little girl in a crowd of people because the mall was very busy.

She went back to search the toy shop she and Chelsea was arguing about but she didn't see Chelsea there. She also checked every store they visited but Chelsea was nowhere to be found.

She grew more anxious by the minute she didn't find Chelsea. She kept cursing herself in her miforfur being so careless.

She then decided to go the mall's main entrance asking every passer-by with Cheslea'slea picture on her phone but no one had seen her baby. It was one of the people who asked if she should ask security.

Chelsea's mother felt like face-palming herself that she hadn't Informed the security department about Chelsea going missing. So she immediately Informed the closest security personnel who brought her to the security room to lay a complaint but then for the security personnel to respond promptly they started asking her irrelevant questions which made her get into an argument with them and caused a commotion.

She was so surprised when she heard Cheslea's voice scream Mummy that she immediately broke into tears. She was glad her baby was alright and still in one piece when she found her.
