He would lie

Choi Baek-Hyun paused at the office door upon seeing a sleep-deprived Byun Dal. As evidenced by the coffee cups and takeout boxes, it looked that Byun Dal had stayed the night looking for matches for Choi Baek-Hyun's sister.

Choi Baek-Hyun quietly edged away from the door and headed to the kitchen. Once there, he stared at the coffee machine. Never having to make his own coffee before, he had no way to operate it, and the glances of the other employees in the kitchen downing their morning coffee made it too much of an uncomfortable situation to ask his secretary how he could possibly persuade this machine to make him a cup of coffee. Instead, he grabbed a mug from the cupboard, examined it, and then left the kitchen, finding a nook in the hallway to hide the mug he didn't actually need. He just needed a reason to be in the kitchen. He decided on taking a small walk to the nearest coffee shop.

Upon his return, he readied the sofa with the plumpest pillows and a blanket, then placed a cup of coffee and a paper bag containing a stuffed pancake next to Byun Dal. It took the sleepless apprentice a moment to register the CEO was in the same room, never mind had brought him breakfast. In ordinary circumstances, Choi Baek-Hyun would feel annoyance at his presence not being acknowledged, but he couldn't muster that in himself this morning. Once he had his attention, after clearing his throat, Choi Baek-Hyun nodded towards the sofa.

If anyone asked if he had stole glances at Byun Dal enjoying breakfast, licking crumbs from the side of this lips, blowing on the coffee to cool it down before taking small sips and cradling it in his hands, and the mumbles that came out of his drooling mouth as he caught up on sleep, he would lie and said he didn't. But he did, in between looking at the scrawled notes of potential matches next to the laptop.

When it looked like he was about to awaken, Choi Baek-Hyun ordered them both lunch and more coffee. He was eager to go over Byun Dal's findings, although, hoping to spend more time with him, secretly wanted the perfect match to wait just a little longer to be found.
