It was late at night when Zhaolin left after helping out to put the children to bed.

"Where have you been?" Was the first question that came out of Mrs Bai's mouth at the sight of her daughter. "We watched the news, you're everywhere with that woman. Did she really kidnap you?"

Yuxi smiled but it was awkward. "Mom, don't pay attention to those things, alright." She said going in for a hug.

Mrs Bai just let herself be hugged instead of continuing to argue. It's not that she didn't know, but maybe over looking it will be better as her daughter was right before her and healthy. If that woman had touched a single hair on her child's hair, then she won't think twice of going after her.
