On his way out, he got a call from unknown number. Xiujun hesitated to pick up and the person sent a message. <It's me, Shiya.>

He dialed the number without a second thought, she picked up just as fast. "Xiujun, where are you?"

Xiujun looked around the area and said. "You, tell em where you are, I'll come get you."

Shiya relayed her address to him and he drove away.

Some minutes later,

Shiya smiled upon seeing the man get out of his car, then thought about how lucky she was too have someone like him, but then couldn't have that one man her heart desires.

"You are here," she said, striding forward and meeting him halfway.

"Hmm," Xiujun was also smiling. He wanted to ask how she was doing, but didn't have the courage to do so, afraid that he will bring up the things happening, and probably hurt her.
