Internship Application

The next morning...

Betty dressed Tulip for school while Alynah got ready for the internship application. She dressed up in a black joggers, brown shirt and black jacket. Her long chestnut brown hair was packed in a neat ponytail. She wore a pair of white sneakers and her envelope containing her credentials. 

"Mummy, you look beautiful!" Tulip exclaimed, munching on her sandwich. 

"Thanks baby, and you look pretty and cute" Alynah complimented, pecking her cheeks. Tulip giggled happily. 

She took her seat next to Tulip and had their breakfast. After that, Alynah and Tulip left. She's going to drop Tulip at school then, take a cab to the organization.

Alynah stood in ring of the tall massive building made of glass. She took a deep breath and walked through the rotating glass door. She went straight to the counter where she met the receptionist. 

"Good morning" Alynah greeted nervously.

"Good morning ma'am, how may I help you?" The receptionist, whose name is Nicholas beamed. 

"I'm Alynah Grayling and I am here for an internship application" Alynah said softly. 

Nicholas typed some things in his computer and looked up. 

"Can I have your credentials?" Nicholas asked. 

"Sure" Alynah handed him the envelope. 

"Come with me, Miss Grayling" he shot her a professional smile and walked away. Alynah trailed behind him. 

They arrived at the waiting room. 

There are few other applicants there, waiting. 

"Wait for me here, Miss Grayling" Nicholas stated. Alynah nodded and sat down while he left. 

Seconds turned to minutes and Alynah was still nervously waiting for her turn. Finally, the moment came and she heard her name.

"Alynah Grayling, you're next" Nicholas stated and Alynah stood up. 

"Come on with me" he left. Alynah took a deep breath and followed him. 

They went into the elevator and went to the 11th floor. 

They arrived in front of a glass door. 'Conference room' was boldly written on it. 

A blonde- haired man was standing by the door. 

"Hello Miss Grayling, I'm Ralph, the design Manager" the man introduced.

"Nice to meet you, Mr Ralph" Alynah beamed.

"Come on in"

Alynah followed Ralph to the conference room where they met two other team members were seated. 

"Alright Alynah, tell us a little about yourself and why you want to intern with us" Ralph asked, smiling.

"Well, I'm a fan of designs and I personally picked interest in your designs. Your designs are always so creative and inspiring. I'm a student of computer science and I'm eager to learn from the best. I believe this internship will serve as a stepping stone to pursue my dreams and also build my skills" 

The team nodded, impressed. They began asking her questions about her experience and skills and Alynah answered confidently. 

"Alright Alynah, you'll be notified when are make your decision. Thank you for coming" Ralph said. 

Alynah left the office, feeling hopeful and enthusiastic. Unfortunately, she couldn't find Nicholas. How did he expects her to go back alone. She completely forgot the way back cause this organization is too big for her to study the routes. 

Just then, she saw a group of men dressed in suits walked out of the elevator. The two of them were dressed in grey suits while the one leading the way was wearing black suit. He has a silky black hair, gorgeous grey eyes, thin pink lips, sharp jawline and structured physique. He had that cold look on his face as he approached her with the two other men trailing behind him. 

Alynah's eyes widened in shock.
