2 Luo Mei's Decision

Jessy got up from bed as she yawned. It has always been like this, from dying to reincarnating and then waking up younger again. It was as though the gods were giving her a chance to rectify her mistakes, to let her know that avenging her enemies would definitely lead to another Avenger.

Jessy let out a sigh before standing up from her bed and entered the bathroom.

She filled the bathtub with warm water, and the fragrance of the petals she added to it waft the air that even the person next door would be able to smell the fragrance.

Jessy soaked herself, letting her body relax to the warm water. Whatever stress on her, she was willing to let go.

After her bath, she dressed up in a clean cloth with the aim of going out to her friends place as she had usually done all her life. But this time, she wasn't going to go through the wrong path of revenge. But before she would take the first move, a knock erupted from the door startling her. Bracing herself, she turned the handle of the door and opened it and a young woman came to view.

It was Verona Luo her aunt. She was looking the same as always, evil. Her eyes held radiance of hatred and Jessy felt like she was reliving a whole life of nightmare all over again.

"Jessy, Luo Mei demands your presence!"

Her voice was clipped and Jessy flinched.

Jessy knows that man too well, he was her father and if she can recall, he never agrees with her. Her dad was a strict man and ever since her mother died, he had turned his back on her because he believed that Jessy was the cause. Luo Mei was a well known man who works in an empire that was prospering. Even the ranks of businesses couldn't beat his except the sudden new Empire that rose a year ago and then went into power few weeks back. That power that even greatest empires couldn't attain in twenty years, that one empire acquired it in two weeks. Anyways, Jessy could tell that her father was a man of his words, he was like a No Go Area! He was strict. Even, hearing that he demanded her presence sent fear jolting and sizzling within her heart.

In the Luo's Mansion, almost the entire family lives there. Jessy did not like that fact at all and in cases as this, she knew that this was the best start for family war. Jessy believed that every combined family would definitely encounter a change where one member of the family would decide to fight against the other. Jessy's aunt Verona Luo and uncle Gu Luo lived in. Her grand parents Zhao Luo and Xiaolei Luo also stays in this mansion. Her second uncle and aunt lives here too. Jace Luo and Olga Luo. And in the entire Luo family, they had total of seven children.

Jessy Luo, Nancy Luo, Wooyun Luo, Chen Luo Hans and Hilly. Jessy was an only child, Nancy and Wooyun belongs to her aunt Verona while the other three were for the other family. It was indeed a small family but still complicated.

After much composure she had garnered, she left her room and hurried down stairs and there in the spacious living room, Luo Mei sat. His eyes brooded down at her and Jessy felt like she should sink into the ground under his brooding stares.

But before Jessy could say anything, Luo Mei threw the bombshell:

"Jessy, you'll be getting married in two weeks time. Get prepared to receive the grooms family by evening today." His tone was harsh and Jessy stood with wide eyes.

The worst part is that, she didn't know how to protest, she didn't know how to say no. The funny part is that she couldn't because her father was a man of his word. If he says that she would be getting married, then there definitely would be no saying no or else, he's ready to disown any disobedient child of his.

In her reverie, Luo Mei's voice resounded within the spacious living room.

"Did you hear what I had just said?"

"Yes father.." Jessy answered with same tone as he had used.

Right now, it was just left with her seeing if his choice would turn out right.
