Press Conference
Vanessa was overcome with worry after reading the latest release of her affair with Alex. She was unable to keep her attention on the work she was doing despite all efforts to focus on the task at hand, her attention kept drifting away.
She was worried for Alex. There had been rumours of a board meeting, and she had no doubt that she'd be one of the agendas for that meeting if not the only agenda.
With these new articles with more compromising pictures, she wondered how Alex would fair in the meeting. There'd definitely be more pressure on him to kick her out and she was sure he wouldn't agree thereby creating more problems for himself.
Should she go to him?
'And tell him what? To do as the directors want and sack her?' An inward voice countered.
