Not A Burglar
As she walked up the stairs and down the hallway, memories of their time in Alex house came rushing back to her, reminding her why she missed living here.
She was happy they had their own place now, but she couldn't help but be wishful to live in a place like this. After all, no one was comfortable with living in mediocrity.
She wanted the best of life and everything pertaining to it.
She stopped at the door and gently knocked on it, before pushing it open. "Van?"
"Sophia." Vanessa called as she looked over to her. "You're back." She said with a happy smile that said she had missed her greatly.
"Missed me?" Sophia asked with a teasing smile, knowing Vanessa had missed her just as she much as she missed her.
Last night was their first night away from each other. Vanessa had always shared the same bed with her since was little and their parents were still alive.
