Vanessa refused to let the girls in the elevator or anyone get to her but as she made her way to her office, she couldn't help but notice how she had more pair of eyes staring at her.
Weren't they supposed to be passed this by now? Why were they still staring? Or did something new come up as she had suspected? She mused as she made her way to her office.
Stepping into the office, she saw Nate sitting behind his desk. He was early as usual. "Good morning, Nate." She greeted as she sauntered over to her seat.
Vanessa paused and turned back to look at him when she didn't get a response. She thought he hadn't heard her, but she was surprised to see him staring at her with a perplexed look on his face.
"Is everything alright? Why are you staring at me in that manner? Do I have something on my face?" She questioned, but Nate remained silent for some seconds before turning his phone to her.
