Claim Her As His
Vanessa had no idea how long time she had spent there creating her designs, but it wasn't until Alex knocked on the door, that she raised her head.
It seemed like taking her gaze and mind off the drawing suddenly made her realize how exhausted she was and she yawned as she called to Alex to come in.
"Dinner is ready," Alex announced as he walked into the room and her gaze flew to the bedside clock.
"Already? Didn't you leave just a couple of minutes ago?" She asked sounding both surprised and amused.
Alex was startled when he found her still seated in the same position, "Don't tell me you haven't left that spot since I left you?"
"I left a couple of times to empty my bladder," Vanessa assured him as she rose to stretch her body, and Alex's gaze followed the movement.
