A Written Agreement

Vanessa swallowed hard. She didn't need anyone to tell her that Alex was really mad at her right now. And she knew if she could look past her annoyance and pride, she would see and understand what he was saying. 

She had insulted him by insinuating that he made the announcement to coerce her into dating him. Alex had no reason to do something like that.

She was the disadvantaged one in their relationship. Alex could have almost any girl he wanted, and most would fall flat at his feet. He was wealthy, he had a nice personality, and he had the looks.

The only thing she was bringing into their relationship was her love,her pride, and a pregnancy she had no idea about the paternity. All she had to her name was her sister, Sophia and her job. There was really nothing special about her.
