Despite how bad the morning had started out Vanessa had hoped the remaining part of the day could be better— less worrying, and hopefully less of her boss who for all the devil may know, was a really arrogant man.

After what had almost seemed like a tiff between them, she had geared herself in wait for whatever he'd throw at her, but nothing ever came and she had felt grateful for that. She tried her best to avoid him, but that was an impossible act. The morning meetings in his office were a constant, and despite the venue for today's meeting being different, and not to mention the other faces that'd be present she still irked at the thought of seeing him.

Alex had informed her about introducing her and Nate to a team of graphic designers and pattern makers who they'd be working with on the project, and the meeting was slated to be held at one of the small conference rooms.
