Leaving Clover Kingdom Part 1

Hikaru POV

It's been 8 months since Fuego and Nozel have become magic knights. Everything has been the same except...'sigh' my brother is becoming the new Magic King and his official day or crowning is coming soon. There is so much to prepare and do.

I walked to the captains room to meet Julius. I arrived at his door and knocked. "Julius it's Hikaru" "Come in" I entered his room and walked towards the desk. "Julius you called for me?" I asked. "Yes, I have. As you know I'm going to be wizard king very soon and as my first command as wizard king I want you to go to Heart Kingdom." I open my mouth a bit shocked to hear him so straight forward for once.

I raised my eyebrow. "Why do you want me to go to Heart Kingdom?" I ask. He smiled "Well I'm glad you asked. Heart Kingdom is known for their abundance of magic in that area and a little birdie told me that they will have an important role in the future. But anyways, my first job to show the kingdom is my deeds and my commitment." His face turns serious again and I straighten out my back. "Well yes Julius of course you will need to show the public that you are truly worthy. So to show that, you plan on making Heart Kingdom an ally in the future and to do that you want me to go there." I state. "My my. Very perceptive as ever my little sister. That is true, but I want you to go there soon. I have already spoke to their queen and she accepted. But, in return for this ally, you'll be staying there for a couple years and you'll leave a few days after my coronation." I nod my head, "If that's your order Julius. Then I'll do it" I sigh once again and bow.

I left Julius' office and started to walk towards my room. 'Sigh' I arrived at my room and entered. I then hopped on my bed and let out an exhausted and frustrated shout. 'Ugh Julius!' I get off my bed and start packing my stuff up, the things that I won't be needing soon, leaving my necessities for last.

Time skip~

The coronation day finally arrived. The streets were busy and crowded filled with thousands of citizens waiting to see their new magic king. Music can be heard along with k=joy and laughter of the people. 'How nice' I smile seeing the citizens happy.

Trumpets are now blasting, announcing that their new Magic King is coming, along with the magic knights. I walk behind Julius with Yami and Will behind me. We continue walking until we finally stop at our destination, which was the royal palace.

Once Julius stepped inside, the official coronation begun, with every Magic Squad present. I lead my squad to an empty spot for us to watch.

The coronation ceremony finally ended and now there was a smile party celebrating the new Magic King. I step outside to get away from the noisy room, onto the balcony. I sigh looking at the sight in front of me, taking in the sight of the towns brightness and noise. I turn around and lean against the railing, now looking inside. I laugh seeing how Yami is drinking and trying to get the rest of our members drunk. 'My what a sight. I won't be seeing that soon' I take a sip out of my drink.

Wind picks up and blows my hair. I now look back towards the towns and take a deep breath, as I start singing softly. (Play the song above. The lyrics translated is below)

I finish the song and take another breath in and breath out. 'How I will miss Clover Kingdom. But it's not like I'll never be back. But still...I'll miss my friends and family... Well there's no point in staying sad, look ahead and continue moving forward.' I say to myself. I pick up my glass and chug the rest down. "Your gonna need a lot more than that if you want to put your sorrows away, Vice." I look back to see Yami with two bottles in his hand. I smile and hum in response.

"So, what are you doing out hear singing and looking like a sad loser. Huh." Yami asks. I laugh "So I guess I looked pretty sad and lonely out here for you to come and give me a drink." I say as he hands me one of the bottles. He smirks. "Well Yami...You see I'll be gone for a while." I state. He looks at me and raises an brow. "Gone? A mission? You've always been gone for a while when you're on a mission." he replys.

"Yes, you could say this is a mission. But this time I'll be gone longer than I normally am." I say before I gulp down the wine. As I do so, I let out a sigh and feel my cheeks getting warmer. Yami looks at me while I'm drinking. "So Yami...Thanks for being a good ole friend and team mate. It's been fun ya know. When I get back, we should go out for some drinks with Will for good times sake right?" I ask, sounding a little lightheaded. He chuckles "Yeah sure thing."

"Oh and Yami. Do me a favor when I'm gone. Take care of Julius and the members for me alright. And do some missions and don't be lazy you hear, and make sure when you become a magic captain one day that you'll not only pick the physically strong people but the ones here." I say as I poke his chest, hoping that he understands. "Yeah yeah." he responds. I grab my bottle and hold it up to him and he clings our bottles together. I giggle "That settles it." I put the bottle against my lips and drink the rest of the liquor.

The coronation celebration party finally ended and now I try to get out to leave. For Yami left me a while ago to get more liquor as I enjoy the cold breeze. I turn around from where I was standing and bump into something or rather someone's chest. "Ugh. I'm sorry" I bow and look up to see this person I bumped into. I squint "Fuego...Oh it's you." I smile at him and slightly lose my balance. He then puts his hands on my shoulders to steady me. "Thanks Fuego"

"Were you out here the entire time?" Fuegoleon asks. I hum in response, signaling that I was. "You'll get sick if you stay out in the cold too long...Plus it looks like you've been drinking. Come on lets get you back." He states. I look at him again and smile sadly. "Yes lets." I say and trip over my feet. Fuego immediately catches me. I laugh "It seems I've had a bit too much." and grip onto his arm to hold myself up. We walk towards the exit and see that the room is empty expect us. "Fuego, I'm sorry I kept you here. You can go back to your team." I say.

"No it's alright. I already told my team to go and get some rest back at the base. Plus I told them that I'll be back a bit later." He smiles at me. I smile back in return. "Thanks Fuego...for everything. I'm really grateful that I have you...and everybody else." I give him a warm smile.

Fuegoleon took me back to the base and carried me there, since I was all wobbly after being on the broom. We arrived at my room and he put me on the bed. He lifted up the covers and tucked me in. Fuego was about to leave but I grabbed his hand, preventing him from leaving.

Fuegoleon POV

She grabbed my hand preventing me from walking. I looked back at her with a questioning gaze. "Fuegooo don't goooo yet...I want you here with me. I won't be able to see you very much anymoreeeee.....I- I want you to stay...ok?" Hikaru states as she looks at me with teary eyes and a blushed face from drinking. My face slightly grows a little warmer.

"I guess that will be fine." I say. She then moves over on her bed making space for me. I turn to walk away to grab a chair, but she sits up and hugs me from behind. "Fuegooo....Where are you going?" She says and pulls me back towards her bed. She then pushes me onto her bed. "I made room for you, so here." Hikaru states, patting a space next to her, while she stares at me with pleading eyes.

I look away trying to calm myself. 'This is totally not appropriate for her. She totally doesn't know what she is doing to me." I sigh in defeat. I move next to her and lay down. She does the same except she grabs my arm and snuggles into it saying "Warm" before she falls asleep. My eyes get wider as she does this, looking at her so cute and her leaning against me. Soon after I drift off to sleep as well.

Hikaru POV

I slowly wake up to the feeling of warmth, safeness, and sereneness. I slowly open my eyes to see a chest with familiar clothing. I then looked up to see...FUEGOLEON!! I close my eyes shut trying to remember what happened. The memories came flooding in and my face become warm and red. Then Fuego pulled me closer to him as he was still sleeping. It felt so cozy, I slowly drifted off to sleep again.

I woke up yet again, feeling the bed moving. I opened my eyes to see Fuego sitting up and slowly making his way to the door. I got up as well and hugged him from behind. "Hey... Thanks for last night Fuego." I said as I snuggled into his back. He turned around and hugged me. "It's no problem. Sorry but I have to go do my duties now." He replied. I then looked up at him and stood on my tips of toes, and pecked his cheek. "Thank a lot, I've been a lot of trouble. When you have time tomorrow lets meet up with Nozel...I have some stuff I need to tell you guys since, I'll be leaving in a couple days." I said with a straight but kind face. His eyes widened as I told him this. With that I lead him out the door and closed it.

I sighed, walking back to my stuff to pack more things away.
