29 Bearer

"Ashe...," Lea could only whisper to herself as she witnessed the raging Aurora that was darting toward Ashe. She could not help but pity the latter. The Laws of the world are called Laws for a reason, violating them would doom not only the perpetrator but everyone that dared to follow.

Everyone was set on Ashe's demise, but before the Aurora Borealis could hit her, a man suddenly appeared in between the two.

'What the--?' Z could not help but exclaim in his thoughts after seeing the situation. Without much time to react, he immediately summoned his newly acquired Constellation.

[Appear, Northern Crown]

{Constellation: Northern Crown}

A tremendous pressure immediately filled the entire mountain peak, restricting everyone and everything under the influence of the Constellations. Consequently, the Aurora Borealis that was descending immediately halted, not daring to touch the glimmer of the Northern Crown.

Everyone stood there in awe as they stared at the man, confidently standing against the fury of the Celestials with not a constellation in the image of a crown, but a full ephemeral image of a northern-style crown floating above his head.

A fury of different thoughts flooded everyone's head. They knew a lot about Celestials and is not unfamiliar with the state that Z was currently in, but they could never imagine that a person whom they had never heard of until a week ago has accomplished such a feat.

"A Starbearer...," someone let out with a gasp. They were all too focused to know who said that, but a quick realization immediately entered everyone's mind.

'My father once told me that Starforgers copy the powers of the Celestials but Starbearers carry the powers of the Celestials. No matter how hard a forger tries, he can never achieve the authority that comes with authenticity. That is how much discrepancy there is. A normal person would never dream of being a Starbearer and even talented individuals would have to wait hundreds of years. How is it that we, the pride of The Stellar 12, the one who is supposed to have the best talent and resources had not achieved what a person we had not even heard of have?' They could not help but be bewildered by the situation. Despite Thea's familiarity with Z, growing envy emanated through her heart. Who would not want to be a Starbearer?

A bitter and envious look appeared in the eyes of everyone. Yndrei grits his teeth in anger and bitterness after seeing what Z was capable of. He had already cemented it in his mind that the only reason he lost to Z before was due to trickery as he could not bear to admit that a Violet Token holder like Z managed to defeat him, but seeing his state now, he could not help but fear.

Even Lea had desperate jealous eyes, 'There are generally three tiers that classify Weaponmasters, Stelletamers, and Starforgers. Minor Forgers, Major Forgers, and Complete Forgers, based on the authority we have managed to achieve. It takes decades of dedication to unlock bigger authorities which is why the gap of power between each tier is so massive; however, it is also fragile at the same time. Authorities give an individual, abilities, but that does not mean it gives them power. It just provides more avenues to utilize one's power. Like a painter only having a liter of black paint versus another one with five 200 milliliters of five different colored paints. Normally, the journey to power and authority is two different roads since you need to increase your fuel, on the one hand, and improve your engine on another. This process, however, breaks when an individual becomes a Weapongrandmaster, Stelleking, and Starbearer as when one becomes a Minor Bearer, they will receive power alongside authority which would put them on a pedestal far higher than the rest. Of course, achieving it would be a long road, but to be able to start now, how lucky must he be?'

'Why did it have to be him? If I had that power, I could have made my father proud,' she sighed. 'No, I should be happy for him.'

"Thank you, Z," Ashe said after snapping out of her shock, breaking the dazed state of everyone.

"Sure," Z replied as he withdrew his power.

All the attention was still focused on Z when a fair young man climbed up the mountain peak. His short white hair swayed by the wind as his piercing green eyes sheltered by his eyeglasses observed the field. He was a familiar face that everyone had seen, an Elf Z was very familiar with.

'WHAT?!!' Z screamed in his mind as he felt his life flash before his eyes. Thankfully, he was able to keep a stoic expression, but he could not help but stare at Kasth.

'Should I kill him? Will I be able to kill him? Why was I not able to kill him? Had he seen me? Should I be concerned? He saw Strix! I am doomed! No, I am fine. I cannot reveal Strix anymore or my flying blades--wait! Byron saw me get flying blades! Should I kill him? Will he talk? I will probably be fine since I used a different set of flying daggers to kill him. Will I?' Countless thoughts blitz through his mind as he tried to comprehend the anomaly that was presented before his eyes. It is not every day you see a person you killed and burned come back to life.

Noticing his gaze, Kasth locked his eyes as well. For a moment that felt like an eternity for both of them, they stared at each other's eyes before finally breaking after Z let out a smirk.

Utilizing his remaining sanity, Z walked toward the direction of Kasth and went to Thea. "Hello, Lady Thea. How was the gift you received?"

Seeing this, Kasth could only sneer in return before sitting down and meditating. 'Why do I feel something wrong with that kid? Is it only because he is close with Thea? Hmm,' Kasth pondered.
