1 Prologue (Pilot)

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. That's how long I count before I head inside the convenience store my target works at.

The girl I am heading for is named Lisa Ito.

I get out from my hiding spot, and head inside the store. We're high school students, so part time is the only thing we could possibly get - unless you live a spectacular life - and that's the best possible outcome I wanted from the circumstances of this target.

"Welcome, sir… oh wait, is that you, Ishigami?" Lisa Ito said once I walked into the store.

"Oh… hey, Ito." I said, acting like I didn't know she was here from the get-go. "You never told me you work part-time?"

Ito looked confused, "I didn't? Hmm… sorry… but yeah, I work part-time here." Ito said, giving a knock on her head. "What are you here for, though?"

"Oh, just some snacks." I said laughing, looking for the right chance to ask her when her shift ends.

"Oooh~ can I recommend some~"

"Yeah, of course." I said with a gentle smile.

"Yes!" Ito yelled with a fist-pump and got out of the little space of the counter.

Ito went to a part of the store I haven't been to before, and emerged with a bag of candy that looked almost like Cotton Candy.

I walked over to her, and examined the bag. "It's not cursed, is it?"

Ito laughed, "Of course… not."

"Whew! Got me scared for a minute!" I said as I put up a flinching motion.

Ito laughed once again, and went back to the counter, putting her elbow and laying her head on her palm. "It's sooooo boring here, friends are the only thing I'm used to and I hate it."

Hastily, I made my way to the counter. "Don't worry, Prince Ishigami is here to save you from the curse called 'boredom'!" I said as I grabbed Ito's hand, making her form a slight blush.

Ito jolted her hand backwards. "No thanks!" she said with a laugh.

"Damn, thought that'd work. Guess not." I said, rubbing my chin, "Say, what time does your shift end?"

"About nine, why?" Ito said, not suspecting a single thing.

"Just want to walk home with you, m'lady."

"Say one more cringy line and I'll sock you in the throat."

Surprised by this reaction, I negated away from Ito. "Fully noted." I stated, putting the bag onto the counter. "Well, I'll wait here till your shift ends, and, I'll buy these chips right here."

"Okay." Ito said laughing as she scanned and asked me for the money required.

I gave it to her, and went beside the door. "I'll wait here."

Ito gave a nod as another customer came into the store, making her attention come off me.

At the end of her shift, I scanned the store thoroughly. There were cameras in every corner of the store, and one's between the little isles containing junk food, and other sorts of non-healthy food.

"I'm ready to go whenever you are, Ishigami." Ito said as she was already heading outside the automatic doors.

I quickly made my way to her, scanning throughout the street we were walking in for a people watching. Luckily, since it was late at night, nobody was around. There were no cameras, either.

Before we could make it to an open area, I saw an opening. I grabbed a handkerchief from my back pocket that I embedded with chloroform. Hoping this wouldn't kill her, I shoved the handkerchief within the range of nostrils; and causing her to pass out.

I got out my phone from my other pocket, and dialed THE number. When they received it, they came as quickly as possible, taking her passed out body away in a car.
