As she lay on her deathbed, the woman wondered what the future held for her. Would she be reincarnated? Would she go to heaven or hell? These were questions that she couldn't answer. But as it turned out, the woman was indeed reincarnated. She woke up in a strange and unfamiliar place, unsure of where she was or what had happened to her. As she looked around, she realized that she was no longer in a human body. Instead, she was a small and fluffy white cat. As she made her way through the desolate landscape, the woman noticed that there were strange creatures roaming the streets. They were grotesque and undead, with rotting flesh and empty eyes. They seemed to be drawn to her, reaching out with their gnarled hands as she tried to escape. The woman knew that she had to be careful. She had to stay hidden and avoid the zombies at all costs. She crept through the shadows, using all of her feline instincts to evade the undead creatures. As she wandered through the city, the woman realized that she was the only cat anyone had ever seen. People were terrified of her, and they ran in fear whenever she approached. The woman was sad and lonely, longing for the companionship of her human family.

Frozen

I stand frozen as I see the man's eyes lock onto me. My heart races and I feel a lump form in my throat. The dog barks loudly, pulling at its leash and trying to reach me. I want to run, but my body won't respond. I am trapped, frozen by fear.

The man's eyes are piercing, as if he can see right into my soul. I can hear the dog's nails scratching against the pavement as it tries to reach me. The leash is taut, straining against the man's grip. I can feel the man's gaze still upon me, heavy and intense.

He is wearing a long coat, and his head is tilted slightly to one side as he gazes in my direction.

My mind is racing, trying to come up with a plan, but all I can think of is escape. I have to get away. I take a deep breath and force my legs to move, bolting down the street and away from the man and the barking dog.

I run blindly, dodging between buildings and leaping over obstacles until I'm sure I've put enough distance between myself and the man and his dog.

Eventually, I slow down and stop to catch my breath. As I pant, I consider my options. I could keep running, try to find another place to hide and wait for the danger to pass. Or I could turn around and stalk the man, try to figure out who he is and what he wants. Maybe he is the person I was looking for. I weigh the risks and decide to go back. I have to know what he knows.

I cautiously made my way back towards the direction I had fled from. My heart was pounding in my chest, but I knew that I had to find out more about the man and the dog. As I approached the area where I had seen them last, I slowed down, creeping along as quietly as possible.

I heard the man's voice in the distance, but I couldn't make out what he was saying. I flattened myself against a wall, my ears twitching as I listened intently. The dog was barking again, but it sounded further away now. I peered around the corner, scanning the area for any sign of them.

Suddenly, the man appeared in my line of sight. He was walking towards the dog, holding its leash tightly. I shrank back, trying to make myself as small as possible. But then, I noticed something that made me freeze. The man was looking right at me again.

His eyes were sharp and piercing, as if they could see right through me. I felt a wave of fear wash over me, and I wondered how he knew I was there. Not even the dog is aware that I am here. How could this man know?

I took a step back, my instincts telling me to run, but my curiosity getting the best of me. I felt a twitch in my tail as I considered my options. I had two choices: either turn around and leave, or stay and see what this man was all about. I was already curious about the person who had left the mark on the map, and now this man was a new mystery.

I decided to stay and observe. I jumped down from my hiding spot and crept closer to them, trying to stay hidden in the shadows. The man was talking to the dog in a low voice, and it sounded like he was trying to calm it down. The dog, however, was still barking and pulling at its leash, trying to get to something.

I was careful not to make a sound as I approached. I wanted to get a closer look at the man, to see if he was a threat or if he had any information that could help me. As I got closer, I could see that the man's eyes were a dark, maybe brown. They were intense and seemed to look right through me, as if he could see my every thought.

I was momentarily frozen, but then I remembered that the man has made no move towards me.

I decided to take a chance and not run away. I stayed there, frozen in place, watching the man with the piercing eyes and the barking dog. I wondered how he could know I was there when even the dog didn't seem to notice me. But as I watched him, I realized that he was now distracted by something else. He was looking towards the sky, his eyes fixed on a point in the distance. I followed his gaze and saw that there was a commotion coming from the church.

I took a step forward, moving cautiously towards the man. He was still distracted, his attention focused on what was happening at the church. I took this opportunity to get closer and see what was going on. As I approached, I heard the sound of shattering glass and people shouting. It seemed like something was happening inside the church.

I was curious, but also scared. I wondered if I should go inside and see what was happening or stay hidden. But before I could make a decision, the man turned towards me, his eyes locking with mine. In that moment, I realized with a hundred percent certainty that he could see me after all.

I decided to hold my ground and wait for the man to make the first move. I watched as he stood there, his gaze fixed on me, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of fascination and fear at the same time.

He stood there for what felt like an eternity, until finally, he broke the silence. "what do we have here?" he said in a deep, raspy voice. I felt my fur stand on end, but I didn't run. Instead, I stood my ground and prepared for what was to come next.

As I sat there, frozen under the man's piercing gaze, I couldn't help but feel a wave of surprise wash over me. How was it possible that I could understand him when he spoke? All this time, I've been surrounded by animal sounds and other languages, yet here I was, comprehending English.

The man said something to the dog, who barked in response, but still couldn't seem to pick up on my presence. I remained still, waiting for the man to make the first move. Would he try to chase me away? Or was he a friend, here to offer help to a sweet little cat? The anticipation was almost too much to bear.
