20 The Sport festival
It was the last day before the sport festival and Ryuu was summoned by his father.
'Why did he call for me ? It's looks to be important. Does he have another mossion for me ?' he was lost in his thought as he entered the training room.
His father was waiting for him.
The teen could feel the pressure inside the room rising.
Ryuu swallowed his saliva as he saw the killer-gaze that his father was sending at him.
'Did I mess up something ?' he wondered.
He then slowly went nearer and sat.
There was long moment of silence before his father spoke.
"So…" the man began.
"You are planning to make yourself unnoticed during the sport festival right ?" he continued.
'Perfectly, that's the plan !'
"Yes, I'll do that !" Ryuu replied.
His father couldn't help but sighed.
"What a dense son !" he complained.
"Hum?"
Ryuu made up a confused face, wondering what was the problem.
"You are the future leader of the Jiyuu Clan, and a leader must gain the respect of his subordinates !" the man stated. "And if you do as you've planned, you'll lose the best opportunity to prove yourself to them !"

Ryuu was thinking about what his father said.
As he was walking in the corridor of UA.
'He is right . I tried to be as invisible as possible to not attract to much attention but if I continue like that, the members of the clan would question my legitimacy as the future clan leader .'
He was lost in his thought when he bumped into a familiar male figure.
"Sorry I…"
"Hum? You ?"
"It's been a long time since last time we met right Iida ?"
"Yeah !" the tall boy replied."Are you ready for the sport festival ?"
"We can say that ! And you ?"
"Well, I think that I am !" Iida stated. "And also Hitoshi has declared war to our class earlier !"
'Seriously ? He looks motivated !' Ryuu thought.
"Well, he want to prove himself to everyone so he'll use that challenge as a motivation I think !" Ryuu said.
Soon the two boys were interrupted by Iida's friend whom arrived soon.
"Hum ? Who is that boy ?" a brown haired girl asked the tall boy.
"Well, this is Ryuuji Jiyuu, a friend of mine from middle school !" Iida replied.
'Friend? I think that isn't false but not totally right as well !' Ryuu thought.
"Nice to meet you, I am Ochaco Uraraka !" the girl stated.
"Nice to meet you too !" Ryuu replied politely.
'Uraraka ?' the name was familiar to him.
"Nice to meet you too Ryuuji, I am Izuku Midoriya !" A green haired boy whom was with Iida said.
"It's a pleasure !" Ryuu replied.
'So this is tha famous successor !'
Ryuu didn't staid long with them, he had some stuff to take care of.
"So see you at the sport festival guys !" he said as he left.

Late in the night Ryuu was on his bed not able to sleep, his father's words were haunting his thought.
He didn't want to show up but if his father was right and he was, he wouldn't be able to be the next leader of the clan.
He sighed as was staring at the ceiling.
'Looks like I don't have the choice !'
'I'll show them what I can do tomorrow !'

The day of the sport festival.
Early in the morning, Ryuu was in the living room eating his breakfast and enjoying each sip of his tea.
"Good morning !" his father greeted him as he entered the room.
"Morning !" he simply replied.
The man then sat in front of him and turn the TV on.
〔Today we'll follow the sport festival of UA !〕a reporter stated energetically.
The man the faced his son.
"So what will you do ?" he asked with as serious face.
Ryuu took a last sip of tea and stood up.
"Just watch and see !" he replied as he left the room.
"What a kid !" the man said while grining.

All the students were slowly entering in the large stadium by the corridor, the voice of Present Mic could be heard from there , Ryuu saw the huge crow excited by the event as they got out.
"Looks like their are here for the show ." he stated.
"Yeah. That's a good thing, I'll show to all them that I am worth to be a hero too ." Hitoshi stated.
"Woow, you looks kinda fired up man !" Ryuu said.
With his constant tired looking face it was difficult to say that he was fired up or not.
The students were aligned according to their class, the A-class, the B-class from the hero course, the C-class, the D-class, the E-class from general course, the F-class, the G-class, the H-class from support course and the I-class, the J-class, K-class from management course.
On the stage, Midnight, one of the teacher of UA was standing, seemed like she was going to be the master of ceremonies.
"QUIET !Repsentative of the first years, Katsuki Bakugo, come on the stage !" she stated.
The blond boy then slowly walked on the stage.
"What? He is the representative ?" a green haired boy from A-class asked.
"Yeah ! He was at the first place of the entrance exam after all !" one of his friends replied.
A girl from the general course sighed deaply.
"First place of the hero course !" she stated.
She looked pissed of.
AS Bakugo went in front of the mike, there was a total silence.
"I will be…the number one !" he announced calmly.
All the other students were pissed off and wanted to crush him for being arrogant.
"What a prideful guy ." Ryuu said as he sighed.
All the other students were booing him but the blonde boy kept his cool, looked like he did it on purpose to motivate himself.
'This will be an interesting show !' Ryuu thought.
THen Midnight launched the drawing-machine to know what would be the first stage of the event.
〔Obstacle course 〕
"The first stage will be an obstacle course !" she announced."The rules are simples, only a defined number of participants will be able to pass to the next stage, the course will be tour of the stadium, you can do anything to stop your opponents !"
"What do you plan to do ?" Hitoshi asked Ryuu.
"I'll play it cool ." the black haired boy simply replied.
"Ready…Start !" Midnight announced the beginning of the trial.
All of the studients rushed in the corridor all aiming for the first place. It was a total mess, it looked like at the train rush-time.
Hitoshi was going to join them as well when Ryuu stopped him.
"Why do you stop me ? We need to be in the first ones to be able to pass this trial !" Hitoshi said confused.
"Calm down ! Let's play it cool man ." Ryuu replied.
Just at that moment the corridor was cover of ice, nearly all the students there were frozen or stuck on the floor.
"See ?" Ryuu said as he pointed at the frozen corridor while slowly walking towards it.
Hitoshi was surprised, it looked like his friend already knew what would happen.
It was the move of Shoto Todoroki that did that.
The one that was considered like the strongest of the A-class took the lead of the course.
Nearly all the A-class students managed to evade the move, but some of the B-class as well and some of the other classes.
"How did you know that it would happen ?" Hitoshi asked his friend curious while walking beside him.
"It was predictable, the selection begin at the starting point, he wanted to take advance on everyone and the corridor was the best place to trap them ! His quirk is really awesome !" Ryuu said.
Hitoshi could only notice that he was lacking of experience.
"It's not time for chating, let's move on !" Ryuu the said.
The two then ran out of the corridor withouth problem, Ryuu used his quirk to permit them to not slide on the ice.
As soon as the were out of the corridor, they met a bunch of robots.
"THIS IS THE FIRST OBSTACLE ! THE ROBOTS HELL !" the voice of Present Mic could be heard.
"These are the villain-simulators that were at the entrance exam !" Hitoshi stated.
"Hum ? These things ? No wonder why you failed then !" Ryuu tried to joke.
"Let's pass these quickly !" Ryuu said.
Suddenly a huge robot with a big 0 written on it was frozen by Todoroki and fell down.
"He is strong huh ?"
Ryuu was impressed by the boy but it wasn't long before he regain his mind.
"How do you plan to pass these robots ?" Hitoshi asked.
Ryuu turned his gaze at him and smiled.
"It's simple, just follow me !" he replied.
Hitoshi wzs wondering what his friend was planning to do by he trusted him so he just did as he was told to do.
They then run towards the border of the way, the robots that were there were only the one-pointer, so it would be easier to pass but even if these were the weakest of all the pointers, they were still a pain to avoid.
But to everyone's surprise, Ryuu and Hitoshi just passed them like it was nothing, it looked like if the robots just let them pass.
"Impressive! How did yoi do that ?" Hitoshi asked curiously.
"I just removed the effect of the electricity inside the robots ! It's exactly like if I switched them off !" Ryuu replied.
The boy was clever with his quirk, he used it at it full potential.
"We've passed the first obstacle, let's see what's next !" Ryuu said as they ran towards the next obstacle.
It was like that that the sport festival began.
But somewhere in the shadow, some villains were meeting.
