Chapter 4: The Cabin in Alaska

The lady got really frightened. She was done asking questions. When she looked back over where the girl was, she was gone. Then the old lady went to the kitchen to make food.

When she was about to put her hand made pizza in the oven, a plate shot across the room and almost hit her head but luckily it didn't. It crashed against the cabinet. Then she felt a cold breez. She ran outside her cabin into the woods.

She stayed there for a long time but she had to go in before nightfall. She slowly walked into her cabin and ran up the stairs to her room. She tried to sleep but couldn't so she got up to make a cup of tea. She saw the little girl appear but she felt safe instead of scared when she was around her.

She felt a little happier with someone around. She asked the girl if she had a name. The old lady didn't expect her to respond but in a raspy ghostly voice the little girl said "Bailey." She wasn't going to ask if Bailey wanted anything to eat or drink because she realized that she was a ghost and she didn't think she could eat or drink anything.

When she finished her tea, she told Bailey that she could stay with her as long as she wanted and then went to bed. The next morning the old lady woke up to Bailey in her living room. She went to make breakfast and was about to talk to Bailey but she was gone. She thought to herself that Bailey would be back by dark because that's usually when she comes around. Later that night Bailey never came back.

She got a little worried and then went to bed. Bailey wasn't there in the morning either. In the evening she heard a noise outside and thought it might have been Bailey coming back. But it wasn't.
