Chapter 7: Unanswered question

"whoisthebrowndoeeyedweirdgirl?"

"I....what..?"

"Woah slow down", says Mark earning a 'why-can't-you-understand-me' look from Felix.

"Who is the brown doe eyed, weird girl?", Mark stared at Felix's face for a good 10 minutes before saying,

"Are you high man?

Mark was in loss of words, the colour drained from his face and the bright smile was replaced with a frown. Just by looking at his expression Felix could tell he found about something or someone he shouldn't have.

Nobody has asked Mark about his sister before, how could they even? Nobody knew she existed.

'S-she uh.. She is m-my maid's daughter! Yes she stays here until her mom works',this answer was Mark's last hope to end Felix's curiosity and get out of this situation.

'I never knew you gave your maid's daughter violin lessons? Or a room with a queen-sized bed to wait?', Felix questioned while corking his eyebrow and narrowing his eyes.

'Umm.. My family is extremely generous you know and-'

'Quit lying Mark, she can definitely not be a maid's daughter. Her actions and speech are more like a princess. The way instead of arguing she asked me to leave or the way she held her tears in to not break down infront of me shows', Felix cut him off.

But this time Mark was furious over the fact that this blond guy made his sister cry.

'WHO THE FCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO MAKE HER CRY?!?', with that he was about throw a punch at him before Sykler and Ethan grabbed him.

'Jeez Mark calm down, what's wrong with you guys?', Ethan asked concerned.

'Nothing',Mark lied signalling Felix to lie as well.

'It can't be nothing! I mean you were about to smash his face bro', Ethan said.

'It's nothing, Mark was just mad because I took the silver edition of his favorite video game', Felix played along surprising Mark.

'Are you guys serious you were ab-'

'Really bro?!? That game had only 15 releases of the silver edition! You gotta show it to me!', Sky cut off his brother Ethan.

'I will if you let go of me!', Mark yelled.

'Oh right!', the brothers said in union and dropped Mark on the ground a little to hard.

'Ahh! You would've broke my bone!', Mark said in pain.

'But we didn't', they said again in union.

Before entering the room Felix took another glance at the top floor at the closed peach door to Ruby's room.

Whereas Mark was struggling to find a way to answer Felix later and made a mental note to talk with Ruby.

He wanted to go to his sister right now and ask her what did Felix do to make her cry and find a solution to this together but he couldn't. He couldn't let his friends be suspicious.

Afterall, she doesn't exist in the eyes of the world...
