Entry

I feel like crying. Like jumping down a hill and scraping my knee. I feel like cutting myself. I feel like tasting my blood and gagging. I want to wince in pain and itch my scabs.

I know this is wrong, so, so, wrong. Even still, I cannot stop.

It was unpleasant, but Daisy had to think of what to do if Cole didn't come back in time.

Was dropping Lucas off behind a tree and telling him to wait a bad idea? Maybe she should ask Lucas about the matter. Children could think of things adults couldn't, things adults refused to see as intelligent because they lacked imagination.

Daisy turned to ask her brother's opinion. Her heart dropped and her eyes widened in terror. Lucas was gone.

Lucas didn't really understand what everyone was doing, but he knew that this was important and he wanted to make sure Bird, Cole, and Greyson were alright. But the castle hallways soon became unrecognizable, he should have asked Daisy for help. It was okay, all Lucas had to do was retrace his steps and get back to Daisy.

Wait- was Daisy to the left, or the right?

Tears swelled Lucas' eyes. He couldn't remember.

Everything was okay, if Lucas couldn't retrace his steps, all he had to do was ask an adult for help.

But no one was around. No one, except the voices pouring from that unmarked room. With relieved feet and a good soul, Lucas wandered over to the voices. Remember, it was bad to interrupt adults. Lucas was quiet while he approached the room of leaking whispers.
