Chapter 20: the holidays and the beginning of the third exam.

Before we take the penultimate exam, the teacher gave us a two-day vacation.

It was a normal vacation, there was nothing, it was peaceful, I went back to Moonstone mansion ,because I wanted to train after a a long time of break, I wanted to control this power that I have now.

But the fight I had with those monsters drew a lot of attention, so the knight Ethan James Carter had to give his report to his supreme commander, the warlord, the most powerful man in the kingdom, of the seven strongest men on this continent. Donovan Jack Blackwood

"I have completed the task you assigned me, Commander," Ethan Carter reported.

"Great work, did anyone catch your attention?" asked Commander Donovan.

"Yes, sir," replied Ethan.

"Interesting, tell me more about them," requested Donovan.

"The first person is Aurelian Moonstone, who achieved the top rank by single-handedly slaying 60 orcs. The second is your cousin, Isla Blackwood, who did not engage in combat but displayed exceptional leadership skills by securing the best area and resolving issues promptly. Finally, there's Eva Eshenwood, who possesses a unique talent that allows her to bring out the full potential in others," explained Ethan.

"Haha, it appears that this year's recruits are quite impressive," chuckled Donovan.

"May I be excused now, sir?" asked Ethan.

"Absolutely, thank you for the comprehensive report," responded Commander Donovan.

The vacation ended and we went back to the academy. It didn't take long until the third exam came, and the exam this time was a little different.

We were required to find magical artefacts.

The students are sent to a dangerous Dungeon full of monsters, and their goal is to find the best hidden artefacts , but unlike last time, the students will not have any protection, and they will move individually, and they can fight each other, but killing is forbidden.

The students weren't excited as last time, they seemed to accept the fact that they couldn't go up against the upper class noble families.

Tomorrow came, the students gathered in front of the academy to go to the place of the dungeon .

And we arrived, and the place was a flat green land, there were 30 teachers as many students, so the teacher started to explain.

He said that the teachers would create a passage using magic, through their magic they could see what was going on inside the dungeon, to prevent any accidents, and to keep an eye on the students.

Then the teachers began chanting a magic spell, with a unified voice.

"Grotto's mystic caverns, I call upon thee,

Open the portal and let us see,

The secrets and wonders that lie within,

Let the journey begin!"

After they finished, a white, translucent substance gathered together, forming 30 gates that met each other. Then the teacher said that each one will enter a different gate that sends him to a different place than the other. Then, the teacher announced the beginning of the third test
