71 CHAPTER 71 No Mate and No Title

　　Aria's POV

　　I walked hand in hand with Khalid till we reached the palace door.

　　Today I couldn't feel the uneasiness that I do whenever I am about to meet the King. Rather, I was eager to see him and his previous wife, Kaka.

　　To see the pain in their eyes that I am back.

　　The guards pushed the door open and we entered.

　　And just like I said, they had hatred and resentment in their eyes as we walked in through the angry stares directed at me.

　　I noticed that Alpha Jackson and his wife were present.

　　What a pleasant sight!

　　"Good day, my King, and queen," I flash my fakest smile at them.

　　"Uhmm," the Queen forced a smile.

　　"It is nice seeing you back," the king doesn't sound all pleased.

　　"Is nice coming back here, especially back in your son's arms," they instantly snapped their heads at me with clenched jaws but I shrugged and threw them my triumphant smile.

　　"Good day, my king and queen," Khalid greeted coldly before showing me my seat.
