38 Can I go with you?

Song Tinglui eyes turned from red to black. He really didn't expect that there is someone in the world who knows about his illness except his doctor and friends. But that wasn't the point. The point is what Sun Zen said. After all hearing his words made Song Tinglui only look down to the ground from too much guilt.

"....little Zen, your father—" Roel was about to explain Sun Zen that Song Tinglui was also a victim but before he doe Song Tinglui spoke,

"Since you know everything, you must know how much your mother loves me. I may be selfish but I know my limits, telling the woman who loves you like herself that you are dying is like asking her to die with you. Maybe in your view, you may think I didn't told her about my illness because I thought she was weak or think she only needed to know about my good sides but it isn't.

If I had told her that I was dying, she would have accompanied me leaving everything behind. And that isn't what I want, as much as I love her I only do what can makes her stay alive and healthy. The past six years....I was afraid, afraid her life was perfect without and she doesn't me anymore so I can only hide until my needed to her become much more I decided to be a selfish again."

Finish his long yet painful speech, Song Tinglui looked at Sun Zen who was still drinking his milk looking at him like he was watching an interesting film.

Roel who was listening quietly can only look at Sun Zen hoping this cute baby with bunny pyjamas will understand Song Tinglui. Roel liked Sun Zen since their first meeting later when he bought him his favourite coffee, he can only say he loved this child but still if he didn't accept his friend as his father then it will be troublesome.

"....Sorry, you may not understand it anyway." Song Tinglui felt a bit embarrassed. He spoke out his hidden feelings to a little child he doesn't even know wether he can understand it.

"It is okey, I don't understand your speech anyway." Sun Zen set his milk down.

Song Tinglui felt really done. He spoke so many words to be said by the other party he didn't get it. What a day! Roel can't help but giggle looking at Sun Zen's blank face.

Song Tinglui glared at Roel to shut up but Roel ignored his glare and continued to laugh.

"Even though I don't care, but I can't change the fact that you are the man my mommy used to love and father of my siblings so there are few things you need to know. As an eldest man in our home I am responsible of protecting my mommy and my siblings." Sun Zen took few sips of his milk like he was drinking something luxury drink.

Roel looked at Sun Zen to see which side of this child is capable to be responsible of his siblings and mother but he really can't find any. What Roel saw was a proud and cold child with weird brain up there.

Song Tinglui smiled knowing there is someone who protects his beloved woman but knowing that the more people protected her the less she needs him, he can only wish to be together with her as fast as he could. Well, no one noticed the word siblings since Song Tinglui guessed they may be other family's children so he just accepted it as the siblings of his son not as his own. After all which person will guess that he is father of four children in the same time?

"I will recognise you as my father not as my daddy until you married my mommy, but it isn't the same for my siblings so.....it depends on your deeds and tricks." Sun Zen added.

In fact, Sun Zen doesn't like this father of him since he thinks his father is a coward because he chooses to hide instead to face the woman he loved. But the fact he is his and his siblings father is something that no one can change so he decided to give him a chance.

Sun Zen sometimes see his mother crying in her bed alone after his siblings fell asleep and sometimes drink alone so even though he is a child but it doesn't mean he doesn't get the loneliness and emptiness his mother have so giving his father a chance wasn't just to not make his siblings fatherless but also to warm the empty heart of his mother.

Being without a father for five years, it was pretty hard for Suns to pretend like they don't care of having father. Suns sometimes fight with other children because they were mocked of being fatherless and they don't dare to ask about their father in front of the mother who always work hard to fulfil both parents's duty for them. Knowing the position their father held in their family's role, Sun Zen decided to find him to see wether this man is capable to protect them.

"I will work hard, thanks for your acceptance." Song Tinglui smiled sincerely. Actually he didn't think about the child's acceptance before he came because he thought as long as his beloved accepted him it was enough but now knowing how many important people involved in her life he wished they can accept him so he won't put her in hard position.

Now his son accepted him the only one left his his beloved.

Haha, little does he know that there are three more bunnies waiting him with traps in his way?

"I will trouble Mr. Roel to drive me back then." Sun Zen got up from his sit after he put down the cup milk he finished.

Roel who is supposed to ask Song Tinglui's permission before he accepted Sun Zen's order forgot to ask Song Tinglui wether to obey Sun Zen because he loves Sun Zen he felt like it worths obeying this nice child.

But little does he know that Sun Zen is nice to him by bribing him because he has some use to him in the future?

Well, Sun Zen isn't a nice nor kind person who willingly help or flatter others without a reason so bribing Roel is one of his plans to make Roel obey him so he can look closely to the man his mother loved because he won't allow anyone to hurt his mommy better make sure that this man doesn't have any hidden mistresses.

Song Tinglui stopped Sun Zen and asked, "Can I go with you?"
