Serene continued to walk the remaining steps to her target, feeling all the eyes of the onlookers at her.

Mabilis na tumango si Jake at ginawa ang kanyang trabaho. Hinintay muna ni Serene ang kanyang inumin at pinakatitigan ang lalaking tila hindi man lang siya napapansin.

Again, she was mesmerized by the unaware man sitting beside her.

He exudes confidence even though his head was bowed down at his drink. The structure of his body scream manliness and power. Serene unconsciously leaned on the bar while propping her elbow to hold her chin, a small smile tugging at her red luscious lips.

"Here is your order Q" Jake said sliding her glass forward.

"Thank you, Jake." Serene winked at her friend before drinking down the small glass in one gulped. She rested the now empty glass at the counter and focused her attention to her target who was still unaware of her existence.

Well, she'll have to change that – Or her friends will laugh at her.

She tapped his shoulder once making him jerk out of his thought. The man swiftly looked at her, ready to spurt some dirty words out of his mouth when he saw Serene.

A glint of surprise can be seen from his reddish-ocean-blue eyes.

Serene watch her target, closed-open his mouth but no words coming out.

The crease of his forehead and the crossing line of his thick eyebrows relaxed as he drink in the sight of her. The man was mainly looking at her face with her seductive smile on.

"May I?" Serene asked offering her hand at him. The man blinked a few times before composing himself and looked at her offered well-manicured hand.

Napataas ang kilay ng lalaki ng ibalik nito ang tingin sa kanya. His lips twitched into a small smile. And when their eyes met, she felt the sudden thump of her heart.

He has the palest ocean blue eyes. Very mysterious and at the same time bewitching. Serene can see the small sparkle beneath them while looking at her. And suddenly, everything that surrounds them seem to vanished. She can only see him and right there and then, Serene thought she had seen the brightest star in human form.

'Serene, Oh Serene! you'll be dead before you know it!'sigaw niya sa isip niya.

Hindi namalayan ni Serene ang paghawak nito sa kamay niyang nagaantay. Nagulat na lamang siya nang pagbaliktarin nito ang posisyon ng kamay nila at dahan dahang yumuko ang lalaki upang halikan ang likod ng palad niya.

She gasped at the sudden electricity that climbs up at her arm from the hot touch of his lips. She looks at him wide-eyed and caught off guard.

When the man looks up, she saw the mysterious glint in them as if saying that he felt the same electric current.

She unconsciously gulped and stepped back when the man suddenly stand up, towering her height.

The man was tall even with her highest heels on. She was just below his chin and she noticed that he has a broader shoulder than she thought. His suit is like a second skin, clinging at those packed muscle under his clothes.

Serene looked up only to step back again when she met with the force of his stare.

He stares as if hes going to eat her!

"You are asking for a dance, I assume?" She heard his deep baritone voice asking her.

Serene nodded disoriented.

Does the liquor took its effect already?

Oh man, she couldn't feel her knees. They're like jelly making her involuntarily sit on the stall behind her.

She can feel the tingle of tremors inside her body.

Was this the effect of his voice?

For a moment, Serene forgot about her mission. Sanity left her mind when the man gently tugged her up – still holding her small hand and slowly guide her in the middle of the now deserted dance floor.

"Don't you think, I should be the one asking that?" The man spoke with a playful tone, while facing her and putting both of her hands on his shoulder.

Serene tensed when she felt his large hands almost embracing her small waist. She didn't answer his question because she couldn't find the words to say.

She couldn't talk.

Couldn't even think clearly as his smell of fresh mint mixed with his manliness clouding any sane thing on her mind.

What a strong effect he have on her!

Serene for the first time almost stop breathing when she felt the man leaned down on her.

She thought he was going to kiss her but no.

She felt the hotness of his breath right in her ear making her aware how close they are to each other.

Her heart beats wildly inside her chest and her breath became labored making her gasp soundlessly.

What is this man doing to her?

Not far away from her, she saw her three best friends - smiling wildly with their excited expression and double thumbs up.

She can almost hear the silent cheer of Genesis mouthing at her. And that made her snapped at her temporary uncontrolled self.

The reality of their dare.

She was about to step back and create some space when he tightens his hold and speak close to her ear.

She froze at his seductive voice. "But the pleasure is all mine, darling."

Shouldn't she the one doing that?

It's her intention damn it!

She inhaled deeply while clearing her mind.

Looking at Jaxon with his amused eyes, Serene rolled her eyes and raised her one hand in the air — enough for Jaxon to see her signal. She snapped her fingers and compasses it in the air.

Suddenly, the romantic song stops playing and in exchange is a very seductive song that suits for seducing your dance partner.

Serene hold his hands around her and freed herself out of his grasp.

She smiled secretly when he stiffened and was about to reach her, but she manage to move a couple of steps away from him. He looked at her confused, but she just winked at him while seductively smiling, preparing herself for the first attack of her dance move.

Now, the dare has just begun.
