Curious Lizzy

The first day of the final exams ends smoothly.

Allynna left the classroom after she handed over the Science answer sheet. She purposely avoided Lizzy and Helan, who bombarded her with many questions about leaving her house without their knowledge last night.

After exiting the exam room, she took her bag from the locker and immediately exited the school building. But just as Allynna thought she could get rid of the two of them, she heard Lizzy's voice calling out to her from behind before she could get past the main gate.

Allynna laughed inwardly as she kept her step, pretending she didn't hear her.

"Gosh! How could that girl finish solving science exam this fast?" Allynna quickened her steps. 

"Miss Allynna Frost, you dare run from me?" Lizzy shouted as she ran after Allynna. Once she reached her, she continued, "Ally, now you choose; do you want to tell yourself, or do you want me to force you?" 

Allynna laughed before saying, "Wow! Lizzy, you finish your paper so fast, huh!" She deliberately diverted the conversation to avoid her question.

"Oh, come on, Ally... How could you forget that science is my favorite subject? Young Miss, now answer my question. Please stop avoiding me," Lizzy, who was walking beside her as they walked through the school gates, suddenly stopped in her tracks when she saw her best friend walking in another direction, not towards the path of their house.

Lizzy was utterly puzzled.

"What the hell, Ally... So it's true you didn't stay at your house last night?"

Allynna stopped her step and turned to look at Lizzy. She decided to tell her now. This girl will follow her to Leon's mansion if she doesn't tell her.

"Lizz, I'm staying with my relative. They came to pick me up a few days ago. So we stayed at a villa in the north area," Allynna said honestly. Leon is her family, her future husband. 

Lizzy was suprised to hear that. "Really?" She still didn't believe her. Why do they stay at the Villa? While she owns the house on this island.

"Gosh, are you suspicious of me, Lizz!? I seriously tell the truth, alright!" Allynna was getting annoyed with her friend's stubbornness. This little missy Lizzy wouldn't stop until she got an answer she could be sure of.

Lizzy was still looking at her with curious-looking eyes.

Allynna prayed in her heart; she hoped Geoffrey wouldn't show up now. She feared that Lizzy would become even more curious if she saw a man in a luxury car picking her up.

But, what she feared happened.

At the same time, a fancy red sports car slowly stopped on the side of the road where Allynna and Lizzy were standing. The two of them stopped talking and looked at the luxury car simultaneously.

'There's a luxury sports car like this on the island?' Lizzy gasped in shock. She pulled Allynna and whispered, "Ally, who owns this car? Gosh! I was willing to sell my soul to get to know him."

Allynna didn't have time to answer Lizzy. She felt uneasy because she had seen this car in Leon's mansion yesterday.

Not long after, the driver's door opened, and Allynna almost tripped when she saw the tall man who got out of the sports car. It was her future husband, Leon.

Allynna's eyes were glued to him. She saw him walking gracefully towards her. He looked so dashing in his black outfit: a slim-fit shirt and trousers that hugged his long legs. His appearance was complete with a long black coat.

"Heaven!! How could a God come to our tiny island?" Lizzy still hadn't realized that this man was Allynna's relative. She thought these guys were lost and wanted to ask for directions.

Lizzy pushed Allynna aside and immediately approached the man with a sweet smile, "Hello, handsome brother, do you want to ask for directions?" She asked politely.

Allynna, "..."

She was amused by her friend's quick reactions. Lizzy indeed has an eagle eye; she knows when and how to deal with handsome men.

However, because Lizzy pushed her, Allynna almost fell. She tried to stand up straight, but a second later, Leon's hand grabbed her waist, and one hand pulled her hand. It all happened so fast. She didn't realize that she was already in Leon's arms. Makes her freeze with this sudden physical contact.

'W-What happened? Why am I in his arms?' Allynna was totally confused. But before she could grasp what was going on, she felt her hand being pulled, and a moment later, she had already sat in Leon's sports car.

Allynna looked at Leon, who was now leaning toward her. She could feel his masculine mint scent filling her nostrils. Her mind went blank as she held her breath. She couldn't say anything and tried not to make a move as she watched him buckle her seat belt. After that, Leon closed the car door gently.

Lizzy, who had been frozen in her place, looked at Leon in shock when she saw Leon hug Allynna and help her into the car. She immediately called out to her, "Ally, Ally, who!?"

Allynna heard Lizzy's voice calling her name from outside. She immediately rolled down the car window and looked at her. Just before she wanted to explain to her, the car slowly moved and left Lizzy.

"Lizz—"

Allynna was speechless.

'Shouldn't you meet my friend first? And why did you not let me say goodbye to my friend before leaving?' Allynna scolds Leon in her mind. She still can't believe Leon is just speeding his car like that. 'Gosh! Sir Leon, you have no manners at all.'

Annoyed, Allynna stared at him. But as she saw him driving so seriously at full speed, she forgot what she wanted to say. Allynna was fascinated by the charm and handsomeness that radiated from his face. She could only take a deep breath and turn her face to look ahead.

After a long silence, they passed Sarlun City and headed for an empty road to the Northern site. Leon finally said something.

"How's your exam?" He asks without glancing at her.
