10 Chapter 10

(I am sorry for the delay. I had exams these two weeks and I couldn't find the time to write. Also, since I was on break for two weeks, it will take time for me to get back completely into the story. So, this chapter and maybe the next one might be very bad. Thanks for the support.)

I flew out of the window and headed straight to a building on the outskirts of the city. Next, I flew to another factory and then a huge mansion. That night, I visited a few other places and returned back after an hour.

When I returned back, I noticed Kate sitting while hugging her legs. She still had the same guilty face from before. I guess she feels more bad with me not doing anything to her or not getting angry at her, but how can I?

If someone comes to you and begs you to punish them, it is hard to do so, as anyone would feel weird. It is a different case on bed though. Still, seeing her sad like that, I had something in my mind that she can do and make her less guilty.

I walked to her and placed my hand on her head, bringing her out of her gloomy state. I said to her "Kate, after thinking a lot about it, I know how you make it up for spying on me. You have to infiltrate the FBI for me. I want you to tell me any information I need and wipe out any information I don't need.

Remember that it is dangerous and I might not be there always when you are in danger." which is true, as I can't tell if someone far from me is in danger.

I gave her Margaret's superhuman strength hoping it will work, and it did. This was the thing I needed to test out for a long time, but couldn't think of a good test subject. In My Hero Academia, All for One could duplicate his quirk and give it to others. If that is possible, it should also be possible to duplicate quirks.

I always felt that it should be the same with superpowers as well. If I remember the DNA change and get used to it, my body itself will remember the DNA change and when I give the power to someone else, I should still be able to keep the power.

With this, there is going to be a lot of supes in the future, but I won't give anyone any overpowered powers. This is because people change, which is the major cause of divorces in the world. They can change with time and if I give someone Homelander's powers, they will definitely become narcissistic like Homelander.

So, I gave her Margaret's powers which are just superhuman strength. I can easily handle her if she decides to betray me.

Kate could feel the changes in her body and before she knew it, her muscles grew a little. Just enough to make her more beautiful and not bulky. I said to her "I gave you this power to help you in emergencies. Don't use them in front of people, even if someone is dying. If you do so, I will hunt you down myself." I was serious about the last part, as I still didn't want others knowing about this.

Vought only knows that I can take powers, which they think would be helpful for them. If they get to know that I can give powers and that too, same power to multiple people, they will see me as a threat. Vought is a pharmaceutical company and they are trying to get into the National defense for continuous flow of money.

If they get to know that there is someone who can give superpowers to others, they will consider me a threat to the company, as they are continuously failing to control me.

Back to Kate, she didn't care about the superpower I gave, but the fact that I let her make up for her mistake was what made her truly happy. He jumped at me and kissed me intensity while wrapping her legs around my waist.

The night went on..... The next day, all the news stations are blown away by the amount of information they received in just a single night. They had to stop the printing and start printing a new newspaper with different headlines.

When the newspapers were distributed, many people talked about it, as it was mostly focused on a single person 'Thomas Heth' , Lyra Heth's father. The headlines read "Millions of worth Property destroyed in a Short Circuit." , "Thomas Heth, a child abuser and an evil businessman."...etc.,

Also, even though it wasn't mentioned in the newspapers, Robert Bishop, Kate Bishop's stepfather, was also in a similar state. He just managed to keep the news from the media.

A news reporter announced in the news "I don't know if this is a coincidence or the work of an enemy. Yesterday night, all of Thomas Heth's property was destroyed overnight. The firemen claim that it started with a short circuit and set the entire building on fire.

Also, many businessmen have come forward to testify against him about his business methods, with additional information on all his shady transactions. The FBI has begun investigation and the police have been instructed to arrest Thomas Heth, who is currently hiding."

I then returned to my cell and when I went back, I fused back with my clone and sat there. It didn't take long for people to come running to the cell. My visitors were the police officer who arrested me, Robert Bishop, Thomas Heth and the three men whose companies I destroyed before.

The police officer was also in my cell because he was scared after hearing about Thomas Heth. He was completely destroyed in a single night. He knew he would be next if he didn't do anything.

Everyone involved in the case were in the cell, sweating and crying at my feet as they begged me to spare them except Thomas Heth, who was just standing there, clenching his fist. He didn't even look at me and asked while trembling "Who was it? Who was the one who betrayed me and gave all that information to you?"

I was not expecting this when he lost all the money and prestige he had. He was also going to be arrested for all the things he did. Even then, he wants to deal with the one who betrayed him.

I smiled at him and said "You don't know him. He is someone who you can't touch. Just to give you a hint, he has superpowers." The last part made him open his eyes wide in shock.

Thomas Heth was the one who was contacted by Vought and it was them who sent Mindstorm to control Kate. It was actually Liberty who planned all this. Thomas Heth felt betrayed and left the place. unable to do anything to a huge company in his state.

Back to the people begging for their lives, Robert Bishop also tried convincing me by using Kate. He said "James, you like my daughter, don't you? I will let you marry her and pay for everything you need in your life. Just ask your men to withdraw the information you got on me."

I don't know if he was desperate or foolish, but that statement only made me want to kill him more. I said to them "Ok, you all need to withdraw all those cases on me and I will let you go."

They immediately got up and ran out. In just 10 minutes, I was released and I first flew to Maria to assure her that I was safe. When I rang the bell, Maria opened the door and she had dark circles. It seems that while I was happily sleeping with Kate, she was worried about me and didn't even sleep.

Now I feel bad for taking a whole day to come out. Maria saw me and immediately hugged me. She said "Thank god you are back. Nothing happened to you, right? I am glad that you are back safely." and I hugged her back and said "I told you that nothing can harm me. Don't get so tensed if this happens again."

She chuckled and after a while, she moved back and said "Ok, come in and wash up. I will get you breakfast."

I entered and after a warm shower, I sat on the couch. Margaret comes down from her room and sits beside me. She asks "I won't ask how you came out. I want to know if you let those idiots go after they put you in jail."

I smiled and replied "I will visit them again today. I need to set an example to all the idiots who think that they can do whatever they want and can control me."

This line was for the deal with Edgar. Last night, I blew up a laboratory and now I announced that I am pissed. Edgar is going to take care of the rest and get me Liberty's shares.

I then had a good breakfast and then contacted Kate's uncle, the police officer and Thomas Heth. I asked all of them to come to the forest close to my house.

They took one hour to gather there, which I didn't care much, as they were going to die though. While Robert Bishop and the police officer named Walter Redth were sweating and trembling, scared as to why I called them here, Thomas Heth was different.

He didn't have any sign of fear and I could only feel his anger. I asked him "I am curious Thomas. How are you so calm even when everything you built, fell in a single night?" to which he replied "I already predicted my death when I went back and found out that you have 30% of shares in Vought. I can't survive against a company that has freaks with various tricks."

I don't know how he found out about my shares in the company, but if he knows about it, it means he has connections with the board of directors and the shareholders. I smiled and then turned to the remaining two, who were shocked to know that he was someone they can't mess with and he called them here to kill them.

They immediately recovered from the shock and started begging for their lives. One idiot filed a case that I raped his daughter while the other said that I was dealing drugs. What made them even think that I would let them go?

I caught their necks and raised them from the floor. I was floating, holding their bodies by their necks and said "You have exactly five seconds to come up with a reason why I should let you live."

Robert shouted "James, please let me go. Kate is going to loose her father again. I also have a wife who will become a widow." and the last sentence gave Walter some idea. He said "Sir James, I have a beautiful wife who will be more than happy to serve you."

He tried to get me women when he understood that he doesn't have much to offer considering my wealth and influence with the help of Vought. I looked at him and said "What made you think I can't get women and have to depend on a middle-aged fat man for one, but you got me interested. I will give you a chance to live."

Robert also followed Walter and was ready to sell out his wife. This also gave Thomas a little hope of survival. He decided to test his luck again with his daughter because he knew he was going to die anyways. Might as well die trying.

In just half an hour, three women came to the forest, but not a single one has a sense of urgency or worry on their face. It felt like they deliberately slowed down on their way here so that these men could die. It isn't surprising when you look at them and these men. While These three looked like crap, these three women were stunning and they also had a few similarities with a few actresses from my previous world.

Thomas Heth's daughter Lyra Heth shares similarities with actress Chloe Grace Moretz, Robert Bishop's wife, Elsa Bishop, looked a lot like Megan Fox and Walter Redth's wife, Emma Redth, looked a lot like Kaya Scodelario. This makes me wonder what happens to the original actresses in this world.

I can already tell these women hate these three men because they aren't together willingly. To test that out I said "You might be wondering why these men called you and said their lives were in danger, but are now in front of a 17 year old kid. You see, when I was going to kill them, they offered to sell you to me in return for their lives. So, you three are going to be my slaves while they live."

The three women immediately had a face of rage, disgust and hate. Lyra said "Why the fuck should I become your slave for him? He just forced me to sleep with men and he isn't even my biological father."

Hearing this, Emma said "Same here, why will I be willing to be you slave for a scum like him? He filed false charges against my whole family and forced me into the marriage. I would be happy if you killed him." and Elsa also followed "I would also like you to kill Robert. He married me by targetting our family business and made my father marry him in return for Robert's help."

"Yeah..yeah...sad past..I get it. You want them to die and they want to live. How about I let you solve this yourself?" I said and handed the three women a gun and said "Kill them yourself and you will have to be my slaves. Or, you let them go and I will kill you. What's it going to be? Your life or theirs."

Lyra looked at the gun and then at the pleading eyes of her father. She didn't even hesitate to pull the trigger. Seeing her, Emma and Elsa also pointed the gun at Robert and Walter, but their hands were shivering. Eventually, they pulled the trigger inspite of their husbands' cries.

I said to Lyra "You didn't even hesitate. I like how we are the same when it comes to lives." and she replied "My hands are already stained with blood. A kid from our school killed himself after he couldn't handle the pressure from my father and his father." pointed her gun at me and continued "If you also die here, I can get a normal life like other girls."

She pulls the trigger, but she didn't see any blood on my shirt. She fired continuously till her gun ran out of bullets. At this point, she was both scared and desperate, as she has already decided to kill me. I laugh and say "Don't try anymore, you should have already understood what is going to happen next."

I levitated in the air and said "You might be wondering why I want you as my slaves when I don't even know you properly and except for Lyra, I don't have a grudge on you. Well, it's simple. When you are someone who can do anything in the world, you would want to use it. I am doing this just because I can."

I paused for a while and said "You should be able to relate to this. Although you hated these men, you quite like how you also had power in your hands when you were with them, which is clear from your looks and the arrogant aura you had when you came."
