Chapter #6 A Man with a large Gash on his Face

Aran tried to go around the gang base that he had found but always chickend out on the last moment. Watson was busy with his work at the police department and Chris was nowhere to be seen.

While having his class, Aran decided to take a break. When he opened his mobile phone, he had a notification from the security camera's app which he had in his mobile. They had bought a thermal sensor which could sense a human's presence nearby and it had alerted a notification. Aran opened the app and rewinded to see who had entered the thug's base. He saw the same man he had seen in Watson's board listed in the wanted section.

He called Watson as soon as he could and told him about the situation and asked him to take a team to the base and that he is coming too. Aran took his Honda Civic, and went to the police department. He saw some officers getting out and in the alley. Aran rushed towards Watson's office and found it unlocked without any being inside. He went up to window, opened it and started watching down. He saw an officer firing on the lock with his silenced pistol and officers entering inside. Then he went down and in the alley and saw police officers standing outside. He saw Watson there too with the other officers. He asked them if he could go inside but was asked to wait by Watson until officers who went inside to come back.

After they returned they came back with seventeen prisoners among whom were the wanted man, and some people who he recognized from the city, but Evan was nowhere to be seen. He must have escaped from another door or something.

After that Watson and Aran went inside the base. The base was all underground with several tunnels and rooms. They saw a room were for weapons, a training room, a conference room and a bar. The thug's were really living down here because they saw several rooms in which anyone could stay. And then they found a trapdoor which was also a second exit for thugs. Aran thought that Evan must have exited through here. They went out of the second trapdoor to find where it exited and found themselves in an abandoned house on the side of the town.

After some investigation the police department sealed all exits of the base. No was allowed to go in the base, not even a smaller grade officer. The prisoners were mostly sent to jail for some time.

Aran once again tried to contact Chris and was still not successful. The only thing that bothered Aran was that Evan was still free.
