Chapter 20 Elektra's Story

It had been awhile and I woke up feeling a bit better. I went out and decided to get fresh air. "Ah Nothing like fresh air at noon I think." Sea came over since he saw me. "Hey Kai. How you feeling?" "Oh I'm feeling fine What's up." "Oh nothing. I saw Pisces talking to my little sis. Is something up?" " I guess we will see how it turns out." "Ah its that. Well If he breaks her heart I'm going to beat the crap out of him. Just let him know that." "Haha I will." So I walked around and found someone to hang with.

"Hey Elektra. How are you doing?" "Me? Oh fine I guess. Why? How are you?" "I've been better. Not in so much pain now because of you. Thanks Elektra." "No thank You!" She said in an angry tone and stabbed him with her hand with fire. "What the Hell Elektra! I thought we were friends. Cough" Pisces saw what happened, and ran to get Sea.

Sea came running and grabbed Elektra and locked her up. Then he came back running to check on Kai. "Hey Kai! You ok man?!" "I-I don't know. Cough. It really hurts." I started to collapse on the ground and Kairi caught me. "Hang in there Kai! Let me see if I can help you." She carefully laid him down and checked his wound. "Damn! That woman! This looks bad Sea. I'll do my best." So she went and worked on him. "Ok I did what I could, lets hope its enough." Everyone waited for Kai to wake up.

About an hour or two later, Kai started waking up. "Hmm. Cough Cough. Ow. That damn woman. What the hell was she thinking?!" Sea came running when he saw Kai awake. "Hey Kai. Good to see your awake." "Where is Elektra? I need to speak with her." "She is in her cell where she belongs right now. If you want to talk to her, we will have to take you to my office with me and Kairi present. Pisces as well." "OK fine. Lets go." "I don't think so Kai. Not in the condition your in." "Can't Kairi just wrap me up tight like she did when I went diving awhile back?" "I guess I can try. After that you have to promise me you will rest until you at least get home." "Yes Yes I promise." "OK good." So Kairi wrapped him up with some gauze but few than last time. Then an ace wrap. "OK then, have Pisces wait for me in the office with you ok? Kairi come with me." "Yes sir." "Thanks Sea."

So I carefully got up and headed to find Pisces. "Hey Pisces." "Kai your awake. Thank God." "Yeah I am. Sea wants us to wait in his office. Kairi, Sea, Elektra and I are going to be there as well. We are going to hear her story." "Good. I wanted to know why she did all this stuff to you too. Why she would use me." So we headed off to Sea's Office.

We sat down on a couch and waited for Sea. Finally Sea and Kairi came and Sea said, "Ok everyone. We are here to listen to what Elektra has to say. If you try any funny business I will put you back in understand?" "Yeah Yeah. I understand."

"Ok so you all want to know about me, right? Especially you Kai. I at least owe Kai for thinking I was dead all these years." "Yeah, you do." "OK well where should I start?" "Start by what happened when you got hit by that fire arrow and thinking it killed you." I said. "Ok then. Well I really thought I was going to die. I mean to regular humans I was. Then something strange happened. I must have been taken somewhere. When I woke up I was in this strange place I have never seen before. It was the same place you woke up in Kai. They knew exactly who I was. They were the ones that tried to kill me in the first place. They told me that if I didn't want to get picked on by other people, I would have to work for them. Then after a few years I meet you again. They said that I can escape with you. They said It would be safe if I stayed with Kairi and Sea at their place and work at whatever they are doing. I trained as a doctor under the care of them and an actual doctor. I was there to help people who needed it. That's when I knew I had another power. My fire one. That's when I knew I was royalty. I figured I was adopted even if they were phoenix people. Not because of the look, because I had a sense they weren't my biological one. I have no clue where my kind are anymore. Or even if they exist." Then she sighed. Then I spoke up. "OK that's all good that you told me the story, but I heard you in that place. I pretended to be knocked out. You said you needed to use someone for their love. Why?" "Oh that. That had nothing to do with what happened to me. Its more personal than that. I don't need it to be romantic, I just wanted to know what its like to be loved at all. Like the love of a brother, sister or parent. I haven't seen my parents since I ended up on the Harbor where Kai found me. I just wish I knew where they were. I needed someone's love. I just wanted someone to love me. Someone to talk to me."

I went over and hugged Elektra. "Oh Elektra. I know what its like not to see your real family or any family for so long. All of us here are your friends now. We are your family until you can find yours. How does that sound?" "Thank you Kai." Then she squeezed me a little too tight it hurt my wound. "Ow. Careful I'm still sore where you got me." "Sorry. After I calm down I will check your wound. Sea I would be happy to live with you and Kairi if you will still have me even after what I did." "Yeah its fine. We can call that payback for something he will probably do in the future." Said Sea. "Hey Sea! Really?!" Then we all started laughing. "I'm sorry though Elektra. After you check Kai's wound, you will have to go back in the cell until we get back to shore." "I understand.

I walked to my room and laid on the bed. I had Elektra and Kairi working on me. They both took off my wrappings carefully. Then they both inspected my wound, and Elektra was telling Kairi some tips for future wounds I may get if its from a phoenix or another issue. "OK Kai. This is going to be cold." "OK I'm ready." Elektra put her hand on my wound, and used her ice power to heal the wound. "Ok well. Its not healed, but you should be fine sometime tomorrow." "Thanks Elektra. I will see you tomorrow." So everyone left so I can rest.

The next morning, I woke up, I tried to sit up but wasn't quite healed yet. It sill hurt to get up. I laid back down and rested some more.

Once Everyone was awake, Sea went to check on Kai. (Knock Knock) A knock woke me up. "Come in! Oh Hi Sea. How long till we get home?" "We should be home by dinner time. I'll walk you over to your house, or should we take you to your mom's?" "Oh probably mom's. I'm sure Rin would be staying with her when I'm gone so she has company and feel save." "Ok then. Get some more rest until your better." So he left so I could rest.

It was finally almost time for us to be there. I got up and didn't have much pain. There was a little though. When I went out, they were just bringing out Elektra. "Hey Elektra. Looks like we will be working in the same job. If you need any help with anything let me know ok? Or ask Sea. I'm sure others will say the same." "Thanks Kai. You're are a good friend. You always have been. I'm sorry Kai." "Hey its fine. Friend's fight. They just don't try to kill each other." "Yeah I'll try to control myself next time. Especially when you are injured." "Nothing much has changed since you last came here. Just that I have a new place and a job. Oh how are you with dogs? Are you ok with them?" " I Love dogs. They are cute and lovable." "OK good. I have a chihuahua named Gracie. I got her recently for my 19th birthday."

We finally got ashore. Then Sea made an announcement. "Ok lets get Kai and the other injured off first. Then everyone can do their thing. Elektra, Kairi Pisces. Help Kai off would you? I got others here who can help the other injured." So they helped me off the ship. I still had a little pain but not much. "Damn Elektra. This power is awesome. Its really helping. I think by tomorrow morning I should be ok enough to work. Oh there are some people I would like you to meet as well. My biological family." "Oh I'd love too."

We finally got down and I said, "Thanks Kairi. We can take it from here. I will be fine." "Ok then take care. Oh and Elektra. When your done, you need to come back to the ship and help out ok?" "Yes maam."

"Oh good he's here. Cliff! Cliff! Over here!" I waved and he saw me. He came over to me and said, "Hey Kai. I see you're a little injured not too bad." "Yeah sorry for the delay on work. I should be able to work tomorrow. This is our new recruit. I'm sure Sea told you about her?" "Yes he did. Hello Elektra. Nice to meet you. I'm the boss assistant." "Oh and he is also my biological father." "Well nice to meet you sir." "Oh sorry my name is Cliff." "Hehe. I'm sure it is. I heard Kai shout your name." "Oh is Kaia and the boys here? I'd like to introduce them." "lucky for you, they just got here as well and asked me about you. They are on the ship." "Ok thanks Cliff." "Sure."

"Hey Kaia I'm back! There is someone I want you and the boys to meet." "OK I will go get them. Boys! Your brother is back! He has someone he wants you to meet!" We heard footsteps running. "Hey Fury and other brothers. This is Elektra. She is a blue phoenix. She is royalty where she is from." They all bowed. "Oh don't bow to me. I just found out myself. Yes I am a princess my name is Elektra. May I have your names please?" "I'm Fury. This is Dylan and Aiden." "Well its nice to meet you all. You must be their mom and Kai's its nice to finally meet you. Kai really does look like you." "Well thank you. You are a beautiful girl. I hope Sea and Kairi take good care of you." "hehe. Thank you maam." "Oh call me Kaia ." "OK Kaia." "OK I better get you back to the ship or Sea is going to be on my but." "hehe ok then. Goodbye see you later." "See you Elektra." So we headed back to the ship.

"OK I'm back Sea." "OK good. Oh Kai. Good you're here. Elias must have heard the news. He is here to pick you up." "Oh OK. Well I'll see you tomorrow then Elektra." "Ok then."

"Hey Elias. What have you been doing while I was away?" "Haha wouldn't you like to know big brother." "Uh ok why are you acting like that?" "Haha just joking jeeze. Mom wanted me to pick you up. Rin is there right now. Plus mom just fixed dinner. It should still be warm." "Oh ok. I do love warm food. We better hurry."
