Episode 1

Ever since I was little, I've loved the river. The river was my go-to place, a quiet place that no one knew of-- or so I thought.

"Hi, my name is Ōkami; What's your name?" a girl approached me out of no where. It really caught me by surprise to see someone else knew about my 'secret hide out'. Normally when others hear 'hide out', they think of a tree fort or a cave; however, that's not the case with me. Perhaps my hide out being a quiet river side was a bit weird to everyone in school, for no one wanted to be friends with me. I couldn't find any words to give my name to the girl who had approached me; I found it weird that I had not heard her coming.

"It's okay if you don't want to tell me, I just thought I would ask since you seemed lonely. You can never have too many friends." Ōkami shrugged with a smile, as if speaking was the simplest of things. I just stared at her in response. Others would think I should have known better than to judge someone by their looks, but all I at that moment was how pretty she looked. She had long and straight, blonde hair that reached to her thighs; mysterious and adventurous, green eyes; the purest light of skin, and freckles that decorated her cheeks.

"If you promise to keep a secret I can spend time with you every day." Ōkami sat next to me, leaving enough room for me to remain comfortable. Any normal person should have been suspicious, but I was too excited at that moment to think clearly. I nodded in agreement to the stranger's suggestion, and nearly every day after that, we spent time together.

Then one day Ōkami stopped showing up at the hide out; I never saw her around the village either. It really sucked for me that she disappeared without a word. It sucked so much because I had started to become more self conscious around her, I had started to talk with her, I had started to have feelings for her. I never did get to say goodbye.

I was six years old then, now I'm fifteen, attending a school in the city, and just trying to keep up with homework. Not much has changed, I do look different, I have a few friends and such; however, I am never quite able to forget Ōkami.
