After renting a turbocar he soon reached his school.

"Students, the Martial Arts Competition is going to be held early this year because of some reasons." Instructor Chen who was the Deputy Dean announced to the crowd with a serious expression.

After confirming his identity, he left for the outer region as he can't go deep as he will be only seeking death with his cultivation if he went inside.

Monsters were also divided from Rank 1 to Rank 9. But a same rank monster can fight 3 average same rank humans.

"There should be no problem fighting against a mid rank 1 monster if I stumble upon them. Well, even if I can't win against them atleast I can escape.

After wandering around the outer region for a while ,he soon met with a low rank 1 monster.

"It's Lightning Black Wolf . It is known for its fast speed."

"I have to be careful for its sudden attack. Anyway, it's time for me to hone my sword skill."

Ye Tian has only learnt one sword technique which is called Lightning Sword . It's a Rank C technique and it has 4 forms .

He could only perform the first form as he was only a martial apprentice before and his comprehension was not that high .

"Now, it's time for me to use its second form . "

Just as he was recalling the second stance in his mind, the monster detected his presence.

"Roar ..."

It soon reached near him but before it could attack , Ye Tian reacted with a lightning speed and striked the second form of his technique.

"Bang!!.."

It struck on the monster 's body and the Lightning Black Wolf flew away.

It lost its fifty percent energy by just a single strike .

"It's indeed worthy of a C Rank technique. Just the second form of it is so powerful."

"I haven't even used it perfectly."

"Time to send this beast to heaven."

Soon, he attacked with all his power and the Lightning Black Wolf defended with all its might.

But it was not enough, the sword pierced right through it's head.

"Gene extraction ready for use, whether to confirm it or not ?"

When Ye Tian heard the System's prompt , he assured

"Confirm!"

The moment he gave instruction to the system, a different energy flew through his blood .

"You piece of shit system!!, Why didn't you say before that it will hurt this much ?"

His whole body crumbled to the ground as he gritted his teeth and beared with it.

After sometime the pain subsided and he felt the power in his body . His body was many times stronger than before

Suddenly ,he realised that he didn't get any potion after killing the monster.

"System, you said to me that I can get potions after killing monsters ."
