The Skirmish

Matsuno rode a horse on a road as he was patrolling around the outskirts and such before seeing a banner and some smoke... He grabbed his binoculars, seeing about 300-400 men armed up with a vast array of weapons at least half of them with guns. He quickly turned his horse before riding down to the fort as he yelped. "THE SHOGUNATE IS HERE, 1ST SATSUMA VOLUNTEER'S LET'S GO!" The 120 men ran out quickly arming up. The 120 men lined up quickly with Matsuno shouting, "FORM A COLUMN." The 120 men formed a column before he shouted."FORWARD MARCH!"

The sound of marching began with the men moving with their webbing and uniforms and the kepi as well with the flag bearer waving the colors. They kept marching till they were at the outskirts of the town, with people running some even using things just to defend themselves. Matsuno stared before he shouted, "FORM 3 LINES, GET INTO BATTLE LINE FORMATION.!" The men ran quickly into formation as they saw about 200 some men advance forward in mobs with the Shogunate banner waving. Matsuno unholstered his revolver before shouting, "TAKE AIM!" The men took aim down the road with the shogunate forces screaming as they began to charge with some firing rounds only inflicting friendly fire. Matsuno shouted, "STEADY!" Then he exhaled before inhaling."FIRE!" Hundreds of mini balls flew with them tearing into rows of men inflicting trauma into the Shogunate troops charging, yet they kept charging. The men reloaded quickly, having a chance to fire a 2nd volley. He now screamed, "TAKE AIM!" The rows of men raised their rifles with rifles raising down the row. Matsuno screamed, "STEADY!!" The men only stared down with emotions mixed up and such. Matsuno finally said the order "FIRE!" At the end of his order, the guns teared into the sound bearer, smashing through into men hitting even a flag banner exploding the man's hand with multiple men falling to the ground. Matsuno then screamed, "FIX BAYONETS!" The 120 men fixed bayonets as they saw the Shogunate men in panic. Matsuno ordered "CHARGEEE!!" The line of men charged down screaming "FOR THE EMPEROR!!"
