The Strongest Race
"Umm… it's just a guess, but I would go with the obvious. Is it the Hybrid Gate, Teacher?" Xian'er was not sure of her answer and she just guessed what the obvious answer was. Which was the Hybrid Gate.
The Hybrid Gate was the one Gate that could contain multiple amounts of beings inside one Gate. But by that point it was just like what will appear and in the history of the Gates appearing, the Hybrid Gate has only appeared more than 10 times throughout the 1000 years of time. But the damage that it caused was severe, it had one of the most destructive effects on humankind, especially the first ever one to appear which was also the strongest ever recorded Gate.
That Gate was not only an S Rank Gate, but also a Hybrid Gate where it contained all other four beings, Beasts, Monsters, Demons, and Elemental beings. That alone was enough to wipe an entire Guild in a matter of minutes, they were even considered one of the strongest at that time, but they were rendered useless because of the Gate. Even Mio had a very hard time fighting all of them because there were literally millions of them, but it was also the time when she unlocked her full potential.
This was the sole reason that Xian'er chose this as her answer because it just seemed too obvious, though it was not just her who thought of that, everyone in the Class also assumed that it was the right answer because it has the most destructive power out of all of them.
"Well, you are close actually. Hybrid Gates are considered the strongest Gates out there regardless of the Tier of the Gate, but if you ask those old people who have been living for more than 700 years, their answer is different. And I know, some of you might say that I'm lying, but I'll tell you this, I'm a lot older than you think I am, and yes, the stats that you are seeing are Fake, but just the age though because I'm insecure of it." Mio said something that shocked all of them because in all their life they thought that they were wrong, and the most shocking part is that their Teacher's age is actually a lie.
But some of them still didn't believe that, at least the part where Mio said that she was much older than what they were seeing. Even Xian'er is finding it hard to believe what she just said. They didn't believe her, but when they heard a light chuckle from a little girl, their eyes widened.
"Pfft…" Somi who heard Mio lying about being insecure about her age couldn't help but laugh because she knew that it was a lie, because Mio was someone who didn't care about what others thought about her. Just very much like her Mom is.
"What, your sister is that old? Then does that mean that you are also old, but just in a child's body?" Xian'er asked a little nervously because she was now afraid that she might have offended Somi because she was looking at her like she was a child, but if it was the opposite, then it would be bad for her.
"Fufufu.. No. I'm in fact only seven years old, we just have that kind of gap. A very big gap if I must say, but that is the only thing that you are getting from me though." Somi said as she didn't say anything more because it was not right without the permission of Mio, though since Mio had already said that she was old, she did give them a hint that their age gap was really big, and now it was on them to guess how big it was.
"Somi…" Mio was speechless after hearing what Somi said about her, but she also knew that she had no choice since she lied about their relationship. If she only said that they were not sisters but something else, maybe this wouldn't have happened. But it was too late for regrets, now she just had to swallow her pride and let it be since it already happened.
"Anyway, back to our topic. You guys will find out about it in the future anyway since you guys will be Heroes or Adventurers in the future, so might as well tell you now. The true strongest type of Gate is the Beast Gate and there are a lot of reasons behind that." Mio finally continued her lesson.
"There are five main reasons. One, the Beasts are the strongest Race in terms of both Physical and Magic Prowess, you might have actually seen this, but if you look carefully at the news, you will see that when Beasts come out, there is more destruction around. Secondly, they are only second in terms of IQ. Third, they have the most insane Battle Prowess, you'll even be shocked to hear and see that they are harder to fight than the other three." Mio took a quick pause before finally continuing.
"Fourth, their Race is actually stronger than the Demons. Though you might argue with that, that is because you haven't fought a Dragon or a Phoenix just yet, though even just a Lion, Tiger, Lizard, and even a Fox Beast is enough to massacre a small town by itself. And lastly… the final reason is, that the Beast Race is the one and only Race that is also capable of using the other powers that the other Race has. As for the Demons, some Beast can actually use Curses, and Elementals, they have the power over the Elements too, much stronger than the other Races. But just in overall, they are stronger than any other." With that, Mio has finally finished explaining to them why the Beast would be the strongest and her words were clear that they are even stronger than the Human Race.
When they finally come back to their senses, they feel that their whole view of Earth begins to change. Never would they have thought that all of those are fake, they have once believed that the Beast has always been the weakest Race ever to live, but when they think about it again. The Beast Race has always had the most death records in the whole history, that alone says a lot, but they just didn't think about it that much.
But from all of the evidence that their Teacher gave them, all of it now sounded real, and they also began to think that the Beast Race is really the most powerful Race to ever live. But if there was one who didn't believe it, it was Somi, she came from the Immortal Realm, so of course she knows that is not the entire truth. She guessed that because Mio's Master is her Mother and she knows that she is a Fox, she probably thinks that her Race is the most powerful.
