Somi's Deep Words

"If that is what you want, then I shall make it. It's quite easy anyway, so please wait for a few minutes, but don't worry it won't take a while." Mio said as she got out of the room before heading to the kitchen to cook.

Just as she promised it didn't take her a long time to finish cooking, she only needed 40 minutes to be done since with her Magic she could speed up the process of cooking without actually messing something up. After she was done she called Somi in so that they could eat and just like that the two had their lunch in peace, there was even some small talk between them which made her extremely happy since her relationship with her was getting better by the day.

"Lady Somi… do you want to explore our world now, I promise you that nothing will stop us now. Just say the word and I will immediately set out with you, that is if you want to." Mio suggested as she was cleaning the dishes and when Somi heard this, her ears perked up as she was excited for this moment.

She was not going to lie that she was disappointed when she was about to explore Earth had been canceled because of the kidnapping incident, now that she was given the chance to truly explore Earth, she was not going to let that go, so she quickly agreed with her. After agreeing, she quickly went to her room before changing into a more appropriate set of clothes as her clothes were comfy and were designed to be inside the house.

After looking through the many clothes that she bought, she finally decided on a small comfy dress that goes down past her knees, she also picked out a few accessories for her hair as her hair was pretty long. After looking at herself in the mirror she was glad that she was still able to do something like this even without the help of her Mommy who is usually the one who dresses her up whenever they go out secretly.

"I'm ready now, Mio. Should we go out now?" Somi asked as soon as she went out of her room and just as she went out she saw Mio standing beside the sofa who was just wearing a baggy hoodie as well as black pants, and rubber shoes.

Mio was just the type of person, whenever she went out she knew that she was bound to get the attention of everyone, and that is why she now dresses like this so that she wouldn't catch other people's eyes. But what she doesn't know is that even if she dressed like this, she was still too beautiful to the point where anyone would have to look at her twice.

Looking at it she was a little embarrassed because it looked as if she prepared herself for far too much and now that she thought about it, they were just going to look around some places, so there was no need for her to wear such clothes.

"Oh… wow! You are really beautiful, Lady Somi! You even look better than those child models on the Internet." Mio walked next to Somi before picking her up without noticing that Somi was embarrassed because of how the way she dressed herself.

"Then let's go now. I already set out a plan for us, we will go to three different places before we head into a restaurant to eat our Dinner, does that sound good to you, Lady Somi?" Mio asked attentively as she walked out of the apartment before heading downstairs.

All of the places that she was going to be visiting today were in Japan, she purposely made it that way so that Somi could truly have fun because if they had to travel for thousands of miles just to go to each place, it would take a long time. She also doesn't want to teleport as she knows that the travel to get to their destination is also part of that experience. That is why she is going to drive.

"Okay… our first destination is going to be a zoo. A zoo is where-" Before Mio could finish her words, she was stopped by Somi who answered her.

"A zoo is a place where they keep animals for the tourist to see, right? I saw that in a book that I read." Somi answered as she slowly got excited at the thought of seeing normal animals as all the animals in the Immortal Realm are beasts, and even some of them don't have a terrifying appearance, she has already seen most of them. So now she was excited to see what kind of animals the Mortal Realm had.

"Yes, you are correct. But a zoo can sometimes be also a sanctuary for the animals, especially if they are some kind of endangered creatures. Though it really wouldn't be called a zoo anymore if that is the only thing that they do, it is more of a preservation spot for the endangered animals." Mio smiled as she quickly fixed Somi's seatbelt and when she was done, she finally drove to their first location.

"I see, but why is it that you guys have endangered animals? I know that the Gate has killed a lot of humans as well as animals, but I'm pretty sure that is not enough for a reason for them to be extinct considering how fast you guys were able to take back the land. Even if the Immortal Realm is bigger, that shouldn't be a reason for your guy's animals to be endangered." Somi asked curiously and when Mio heard it, she froze for a second before taking a deep breath.

"Well… it is mostly because of us. By us, I mean Humans. Humans are the reason, even before the era of Gates, there were already tons of animals that went extinct because of the greed of Humans. Such a shame since because we cannot see them anymore." Mio answered solemnly.

"Greed? I mean it may sound awful, but can't you just breed them before taking the resources that you want without actually killing the animal? Isn't that smarter even though it is still kind of cruel?" Somi asked once more.

"Yeah, you're right. But Humans are stupid and greedy, even though they know what is going to be the consequences of their actions, they still choose to do it, they'll justify their actions by saying that the world made them do it." Mio answered with an expressionless look on her face.

Even though it was a cruel and sad thing, it was all true. Humans take everything that they see as long as it can make them money or make their lives better, and they don't even realize what the consequences of their actions are going to cause.

"I agree, after all… Everything you do in this dark world has consequences no matter if your actions are good or bad, it will always have consequences. So… you must be ready at all times to accept them." Somi said casually without even noticing that she said something very deep and meaningful.

When Mio heard it she almost stopped the car to look at her to look at Somi to really see if she was just a mere 7-year-old little girl.
