57 Removing the Blindfold Once Again Part 3

After getting the final approval from Kurokami, Yuki removed the spell that blocked Somi's hearing. Meanwhile, she was still clueless about what was happening, she didn't suspect that they were playing with her even though it was taking an unusual amount of time for Yumie to remove the blindfold from her eyes.

"Are you having a hard time removing it?" Somi asked curiously as she then placed her hand behind her head, Somi was ready to take it out herself as she was already excited to see her big sister's faces.

"No, something just came into my head. It's not a problem at all, see?" Yumie said as she finally removed the blindfold, but Somi's eyes were still closed as she still hadn't felt anything covering her eyes, and she got confused about this as it seemed that her big sister wasn't placing the blindfold back to cover her eyes.

Somi then felt that something was wrong with this, she even concluded that she was just too excited to feel the blindfold over her eyes. But there was something inside her that was telling her that she shouldn't open her eyes as something bad might happen if she did, but because of the current situation, she was just too excited and happy that she ignored it and opened her eyes, and when she did. She saw something she never expected to see.

The world was clearer and more beautiful as she then looked at her every surrounding with her own two eyes, but when she finally set her gaze on the woman in front of her, she only realized that there was truly something wrong with the current situation. Just as she was about to cover her eyes with her own hands, she was stopped by Yumie who held her two hands gently.

"See? It's much more beautiful right without those blindfolds covering your eyes. Somi, my dear little sister… I want you to know this, whatever you thought about me because of the letter that I wrote to you, all of that is wrong. I was never scared of you because of those eyes, never. If there is one thing that I'm truly afraid of…" Yumie stopped her grip on Somi's hands loosened and she hugged her tightly, but her body started to shiver a little which Somi could feel.

"You are afraid of trying to meet us, to the point where you are going to avoid us. But let me tell you this, I will never be afraid of you. No matter what happened before, that wouldn't be able to change my mind about how I see you." Yumie finished telling what she wanted to tell Somi for quite a long time already.

She felt sad after knowing that Somi actually misunderstood her letter, she thought that her letter would help her ease the pain that she was feeling in her pain, but what she didn't know is that she only made it worse by writing that letter. Somi got even more depressed because she thought that they were only making excuses for not wanting to meet her, but she was wrong.

"Big sister is right you know, Somi? Just as she said, we are not afraid of you. It's the complete opposite, that is why we wrote you a letter, but it backfired on us. But now you don't have to worry about that because today we will show you how much we love you and that we are not scared of being around you even with your blindfold off." Katsumi said as she then took Somi out of Yumie's hands and embraced her by herself.

"Our youngest, would you believe me if I were to say that you are actually one of the luckiest children that our Mother had even with your condition?" Aika who was quiet the entire time finally spoke as she placed her hand on Somi's head before finally taking her in her own arms to carry her.

None of the two were annoyed by the fact that Somi was no longer in their arms as their cooperation was more needed the more people helping their little sister the faster she would try to get over her trauma which is their real goal.

"What? How is that possible? I'm the cursed child of the Ayase Family, how can you say that?" Somi asked with quiet sobs in between, she was sure that she was hearing things because of what she just heard. Her being the luckiest child that her Mother Yuki had was something just unbelievable to think of.

"Well, it's normal for you to not believe me but. Once you hear my explanation, you will understand." Aika just smiled as she was not impatient nor irritated that Somi didn't believe her as it was only a natural reaction from her.

"Answer me this then… how did Big Sister Yumie become the oldest daughter of Yuki? How did Katsumi was born, or even I? The twins, how all of us were born?" Aika simply asked a few questions that made everyone who was very tense just a few seconds ago stop to realize how true Aika's words were.

Yuki even chuckled at this as she finally understood what Aika was trying to point out by saying that Somi was the luckiest despite having such a condition. But it wasn't just her, even Kurokami who was beside her also couldn't help but agree with her adopted daughter's words.

"Luckiest child eh… well that has a nice ring to it, don't you think?" Yuki smiled as she turned around towards Kurokami to which she only nodded her head while wiping her tears away.

"You're smart and I'm sure that you have already read about the Family Tree, so you definitely know the answer to that. Now do you understand why you are the luckiest child out of our Mother's children?" Aika asked once more, but Somi was just quiet as she was still trying to remember what she had read about the Family Tree of the Ayase Family.

Yumie who is the oldest was an adopted daughter by Yuki, she found her in the woods, and she became her little sister at first but because Yumie began to see Yuki as a Mother, it led to her becoming the oldest daughter even though she was adopted. Kurokami was almost the same, but she came from an Egg that their Mother got while adventuring, and if the two have similarities, it would be that they have Yuki's blood. But in reality, they were her contracted Beast.

Aika can be the one who you can consider the real oldest child of Yuki as she has the blood of her two Mothers, but she wasn't conceived by any normal means as she was formed because of the Fairy Saintess remnants on a Flute that Yuki managed to get. She was only merely trying to make a Spirit Weapon at the time, but she didn't expect that something bigger would be born from that.

The Twins were also in the same situation as Aika, their Mother is Fumiko. But they also weren't conceived by any normal means as they were born because of some special means. They were born because of the special Magic that Yuki used on Fumiko at that time, but unexpectedly, she got pregnant which no one was thinking of. Some say that they were conceived naturally, but that was a lie because Fumiko has a really low fertility rate because of her condition. So as a result, they need to use outside power to make the Twins.

"Yeah… you are the only one who is naturally born. Nothing was used on you other than complete love and time by your Mothers. Now, do you understand why I said that you are very lucky at the same time?" Aika smiled as she gently patted her head.
