Haunting Trauma

Solar got too excited and unconsciously held Somi's hand which made the little girl freeze in shock, and when Mio saw this, she paled. She then immediately pulled Solar's hands out of the way and sincerely apologized to Somi for her rude behavior.

"I'm sorry, Lady Somi! My friend here just got too excited and grabbed your hand by accident, I hope you can please forgive her this time. She's a good person, she just does everything that she thinks of without really thinking of the consequences." Mio apologized as she then glared at Solar to apologize herself which she did as she also knew that what she did was rude.

"Please forgive me, Lady Somi! I just got too excited at the news and wanted to express my thanks, I didn't know that you would hate it." Solar lowered her head as she sincerely apologized as she didn't think that her actions would cause such a reaction from Somi.

She saw a kind of reaction from Somi that she was all familiar with. In fact, it was not just her who saw it. It was everyone and when they saw it, they were slightly confused as to why Somi was showing such a fearful face when she got touched by Solar. Though, as what just happened, they just couldn't ask her the reason for showing such a reaction towards getting touched.

Mio on the other hand actually knows the reason why and she felt sad deep inside her heart just by thinking about it. Yuki already explained to her what Somi's characteristics were, she was just like her but different in a way. Somi also doesn't like being touched by anyone easily, not because she hates the feeling of getting dirty, but because she is terrified of it.

Yuki explained to her that Somi had experienced the trauma of touching and getting touched by someone because of the curse on her, there was a time when a maid carried her when she was 3 years old, but the maid didn't know the condition of Somi at the time. So she accidentally looked into Somi's eyes directly for too long which led to her death, that maid died while Somi was in her hands. Because Somi was different, she was clear and had knowledge of what was happening around her, and it just broke her heart that she killed someone because of her.

From that day on, she changed. She refused to be touched by anyone other than her Family Members who could withstand her Curse. But they were limited to just 2 people, her birth Mother and Yuki, they were the only ones who could see her without suffering the consequences.

"No… I'm sorry too for showing such a reaction, But I do hope that this won't happen in the future again." Somi said as she tried to calm herself down by taking a few deep breaths, and when she had finally calmed down, she asked Mio if she could wander off to take fresh air.

Mio didn't dare to say no to her request, especially after knowing what just happened to her, she knew that she needed to be alone right now to take care of her emotions.

So she just offered her a guide by cloning herself so that she could walk around safely without tripping over and knowing that she couldn't refuse it, Somi just took it since she also needed someone to guide her.

"Please don't blame her guys, even though I have also just met her. I have heard enough from my Master to know how she feels right now and to say that it is not heartbreaking, is just not right. Even though it's going against my will, I feel like I need to say it to all of you so we have an understanding of how we can take care of Lady Somi." Mio took a deep breath before continuing to explain some things.

"My Master said that because of her curse, she had killed some people already, but for how many? I actually don't know, my Master didn't say anything about it. She just said that because of all the death around her, she has built a trauma around it. That is why she hates being touched. A maid that Lady Somi has a liking to accidentally died because of her curse and that is what started her trauma." Mio explained to all of them. Now they understand why Somi showed such a reaction and Solar showed a guilty expression after hearing her past.

"Just… how powerful is that Curse? The maid just looked at her and she died? That is too powerful…" Saito muttered under his breath as he then embraced her wife and comforted her.

"What I'm about to say might sound ridiculous, but I'll just basically repeat what my Master said about her Curse. Lady Somi's Curse is so powerful that if she stares at someone for too long, like 30 seconds, that person will die. It doesn't matter if they are God, Demon, or a Monster. They will die as long as she looks at them. But that isn't the end of it, her powers can also activate when just staring at pictures and drawing. Meaning, if she also stared at those for too long, whatever she looked at will die." Mio explained with a heavy voice.

Of course, not to her surprise, she saw all of them thinking whether what they heard was actually true or not. But it was no longer her concern whether they believed or not, but if they were going to help her with this mission, then they would absolutely need to listen to her every word.

"I believe you… but let me just ask this. How is she going to live in these three years? Does that mean that she would be just stuck inside of her room, isn't that too much, even by a child of a God? She's still a little girl, both in the mind and heart, so I believe that she should go out and go make some friends if she could." Saito said after thinking about it for a while.

"That is also what I want, it's simply not fair for Lady Somi to live such a life because of her Curse. That is why I wanted to ask for your help, you guys have a child, so how do you think we can make it work?" Mio wanted to ask for their advice as a parent. That is the real reason why she asked for their help as for Najin, he was there, so the more help that she could get the better.

"This is also what your daughter actually said when she saw her. It was too unfair for Lady Somi to live a secluded life." Mio chuckled lightly after remembering how Alice reacted after knowing what she was planning to do with Somi.
