Advice to Alice

"Sigh… I knew it, you definitely have some feelings for her. Your heart says you do, but your mind just rejects it because you don't know that feeling just yet, and you're confused because of that. So again, ask yourself, ask your heart. Do you really feel something special about her?" Solar asked as her trap quickly worked, she managed to catch her daughter's reaction after hearing that Mio was already married to someone other than her.

It was shocking news to her definitely because she would have never expected that her only daughter would be in love with her friend who is even older than her, but that wasn't the main point of it. Her daughter who had always been cold and indifferent actually fell in love in such a short amount of time, and it wasn't even with a man, but a woman. But she was fine with that, there was no problem for her, she wasn't against the idea of same-sex marriage anyway, and she believed that as long as there was love between the two, it would be fine. As long as the two aren't making trouble for other people, it's completely fine with her.

But what bothers her is that things happened so quickly that she couldn't even comprehend them fast enough. She had just gone to visit her daughter because it had already been a few weeks since she last saw her, but now she had just gotten the news that her daughter was in love with a woman, and that woman was coincidentally her best friend.

"I…" Alice wasn't able to answer her mother's question right away, because she just didn't know the answer to it. No matter how hard she thinks, she just doesn't know. She is clueless about love because she always stays away from it because she thinks that it is just a waste of time, she thinks that there is no need for another person to take care of her, she can take care of her own.

But even with all of that explanation, she just couldn't explain why her heart hurt at the thought of Mio being married to someone. She hated the fact that it wasn't her by her side and that she wasn't the person who could be her source of happiness. Even though she is not familiar with love, she has heard a lot of things about it, mainly from her parents and her very loud cousin, Carol who always talks about her crushes with her.

'Do I really have feelings for her?' Thus with that, she really began to question her reality right now, whether she really has feelings with her or not. But the more she questioned herself and thought about it, the more it just seemed that she was really in love with Mio.m Because all of the things that she was feeling toward her were all signs of her being in love, or at least having a crush on Mio. There was no way around it but that.

"I… I think I do have some special feelings for her, but Mom…do you think that it is really love?" Alice was still unsure, but she now had some idea that she might really be in love with Mio as all of the evidence points to just it.

"You definitely do and even though you are already an adult, it's a shame that you don't even know it yourself. But I can't really blame you because you were never really interested in a relationship." Solar sighed as she just gave the direct answer to Alice who looked still quite confused about this matter. She just hopes that her daughter will make the right decision in the future.

"Is that so? Well… I can't reject that idea though because… whenever she is just around me, I can feel myself being happy, and also even though she is cold I can feel that she is a very kind and gentle person and I can feel that whenever I interact with her. Plus her smell is very pleasant too Mom! I forgot to say this to you but, when I was working until midnight, I fell asleep in my office, but when I woke up I realized that I didn't have a headache. To my shock, I saw a burning incense in my office, and the smell was amazing, it even helped me sleep because of it." Alice said with a little smile on her face, just remembering that memory makes her really happy.

Seeing the look on her face, the two only looked at each other before sighing together. The woman in front of them was really in love, deeply in love with Mio. If just remembering the time she fell asleep and got help from her makes her really happy, how would she react if they actually got together?

"Now… she also gives me some more right now, and I can tell that it is the same one. But that isn't the thing that I want to tell you, Mom. What I want to really tell you is that even though I have a very sensitive nose and am easily nauseous, I don't have that reaction when I'm near her. Her smell is really pleasant and relaxing to me." Alice said as if she was even proud of what she discovered.

But her words were like a bomb in Solar and Carol's ears, they didn't expect that the very sensitive Alice would actually like the smell of Mio. Though of course, they smelled her perfume and all, it was truly pleasant as it seemed that there weren't any chemicals in what she used, it was just a pure fragrant smell.

"Really? Well, that woman is a clean freak, of course, she would smell good. But that isn't the issue here my daughter, I'll ask you this very carefully. Would you like to be with her for the rest of your life?" Solar asked seriously as she looked at her daughter straight in the eyes waiting for her to answer her question.

"I… I think so… No, I'm just realizing my own feelings right now, and the answer is yes. Because at the thought of someone being with her other than me really hurts my heart and the fact that when she is close to me, I get really happy is more than enough sign that I like her. But will she accept me though? Do you know her preference, Mom?" Alice asked with expectant eyes as she finally admitted her real feelings towards Mio.

"Nope. Never in my life, I saw that woman being ever on a date or ever interested in one. But! What I do know is that she doesn't have any preference between man or woman, because I asked her before, and she said whoever can reach her heart, then she'll choose that person naturally. However, I will say this… you have a really big competitor ahead of you if you want to woo her heart. I won't say who he is, but he is a close candidate to be that woman's partner." Solar said as she hinted at her own daughter that she had a big rival right beside her if she wanted to be with Mio.

"But that isn't really your biggest concern I believe, because for all of that man's life who has been trying to catch her heart, nothing worked. All of it is because that woman is denser than a black hole. She just can't get any hint that he loves her, though you can say that it is also his fault for not just confessing directly, but you get my point. If you want to woo her, just dove straight into it and say your feelings towards her, or else you will end up like him who has already been trying to win her heart for more than 600 years already."
