17 Kali And Asui Part 2

"Kali, to celebrate your first day at UA, I ordered everything you like the most and even got you a big cake with your favorite flavors and lastly…." All Might picked up a small box from the table and handed it to Kali. "This is for you."

Kali really did not know how to deal with this situation well. She took the box while lowering her head. A slight blush on her cheeks. She pulled the string on the box that was no bigger than her palm to find a small silver necklace inside with a little heart hanging in the middle of it. Kali's lips curled up slightly as she held the necklace in her hand. She had forgotten many presents from this shitty old man, but they were all strange. She still kept them and stored each one in her closet, but this one was different. She truly felt touched at the thought that went into this gift.

She looked up at All Might and smiled at him for the first time in a long time, making All Might tear up. "Thank you…. I guess you are not so shitty today…."

"Sniff!" All Might sucked in his snot and lunged forward: "Kaaaalllliii!!!"

"Uhg! Damn shitty old man!" Kali yelled as she kicked the shitty old man once more.

All Might did not care as he got up and dusted himself off with a bright smile on his face. He was happy that Kali liked her gift. He spent a few hours searching for something she might like. So he was very proud of himself this time.

Asui, who watched the two's interactions, felt that Kali and her father were very close. She could see that, although a little awkward, that this house was filled with love. "Kali, turn around. I will help you put it on."

"Mmm… Thanks…." Kali nodded with a smile before handing Asui the necklace and squatting down.

"Now then. Eat to your heart's content!" All Might began preparing plates. Kali stood up after the necklace was put on her and touched the little heart on it before sitting down at the table with Asui.

The group chatted about this and that until they were stuffed full. Even Asui had stuffed herself. She had felt very comfortable sitting at the table with the two people next to her. It felt very similar to her own home.

Kaili let out a satisfied burp before sitting up and giving the shitty old man in front of her a serious look. "I want to tell Tsu about everything."

All Might paused and looked at Kali, who was showing a rare serious expression. "I do not mind but are you sure?"

"Mmmm… Tsu is my first and best friend. We might have only just met, but I do not wish to hide everything from her. And since we will be spending a long time together, I figured it would be best to let her in on the things going on around me. It may also help Tuna as well."Kali replied. She intended to let Asui know about her past and to let her know about All Might and his power. She did not want her best friend to feel she was hiding something from her.

"Then so be it. I guess it would be quicker to explain things if I transform, huh?" All Might stood up and turned on his muscle mode. Asui, who was wondering what the two were talking about, mouth, almost dropped to the floor. "Little Tsu. This is a secret that can not get out, okay? It will bring not only me but Kali a lot of trouble if it is."

Asui nodded her head. She could tell this was a huge secret. And before she could recover from one thing, All Might made her even more shocked: "And Tuna… I mean, Midoriya is the one who will be inheriting my power. I won't go into details but just know he has my power."

When Asui heard this, she remembered what Kali had said before when talking about Midoriya. Things began to click inside her mind as she looked at Kali and then at All Might, who was now back in his skinny form, and realized something. They looked nothing alike! "Kali, I might be just wildly guessing, and I am sorry if I am wrong, but you two are not related?"

"Nope!" Kali answered honestly. "I am just an unwanted street rat that happened to find myself a good home, albeit a little forcefully. But on paper, I am by law the shitty old man's daughter."

"I see…." Asui began to tear up. To think Kali, the cheerful girl in front of her, was alone out on the streets fighting to survive. She wondered what she would have done in Kali's position.

Kali reached over and wiped Asui's eyes. "Squishy's should not cry." Kali said with a bright smile. "My speech earlier was talking partly about myself. The shitty old man could have easily said no to me. He could have said he couldn't take care of me, but he didn't. He opened his door and allowed me to rampage into his life."

All Might smiled and tactfully left the room. He did not wish to embarrass Kali. But he himself couldn't help but feel tears welling up in his eyes. She did enter his life out of nowhere. But because of her, he has felt he had filled a hole that he did not even know he had.

Seeing how All Might left, Kali smiled and grabbed Asui's hand. "Let's go to my room and talk. Oh right… You can stay the night if you wish as well."

Asui allowed Kali to pull her along as she thought for a moment and nodded her head. "Alright."
