“Horror in the woods”

The old forest still buzzed with life, with the sounds of insects and animals. If you were to look at it from outside, it would look just like any other overgrown forest with tall trees and tall grass. However, lurking in its shadows is a terrible horror that lives alongside the animals in this forest, and tonight will it come out to hunt.

Jacob stepped out of the village, his heart filled with ambitions and aspirations. He wanted to be rich and powerful, to be able to exert his control over other people's lives. As he took his first step outside the safety of the village, he found himself greeted with the darkness of the forest, the trees towering above him and the creatures that lurked within. Little did Jacob know that this was his first and last stepping stone in his quest of power and riches, his one step that would ultimately lead him to his doom.

Jacob was determined to explore the dark and gloomy forest, undeterred by the creepy and menacing atmosphere, and the strange noises that came from the woods. He was not afraid and proceeded to go deeper into the woods, not realizing he was getting closer to something, or someone, that would change his life forever or you could say end it.

The sight in front of Jacob is extremely unnerving. The dead deer's head is completely ripped open, its brain totally removed and cleaned out, leaving a hollow, bloody, and gruesome corpse behind. The human-like handprint on the body adds a sense of mystery to the scene, as Jacob has no idea who or what was capable of such a deed. The forest is already dark, lifeless (except for the animal noises) and eerie, and the sight of the dead deer makes the whole situation ten times more creepy and menacing. The forest is incredibly eerie and ominous. The darkness surrounding Jacobi starts to sink in as he ventures deeper and deeper into those woods. The atmosphere is thick and tense, the silence broken only once in a while by the screeching of an owl or the howls of a wolf. Jacob's heart is pounding so hard in his chest, he can feel every beat, every throb. The woods are silent and still, just waiting for something to happen. Jacob knows he should turn back, but the woods call to him, enticing him to go further, to explore the darkness. Jacob continues to venture deeper and deeper into the forest, telling himself that it is for the greater good of his parents and his future. He has hope that if he can pass this forest and reach a better place, he will be able to improve his family's standing and his own. The darkness and silence of the woods is daunting, but Jacob is determined to overcome his fears and find a better future for him and his parents.

Jacob continues wandering into the depths of the woods, finding a second dead deer with its brain removed. The same chills run through his body when he hears the strange sound, it sounds like the wind whistling, but at the same time it wasn't, it sounded much more powerful. The sound stops and he feels breathing right below his neck, a cold breath blowing over his skin. He turns around to see a white face with no eyes, no nose, only a large mouth staring at him. He starts to run with all his might, too terrified to scream or think of anything else.Jacob continues to run deep into the depths of the dark and gloomy woods, his mind racing with fear. The strange sound keeps creeping closer and closer, making his heart race faster and faster. Then He feels the cold breath behind his neck, his skin pricking up, hairs rising all over his body when he sees the white blank face staring at him again. The face has no eyes, no nose, only a large mouth, the breath hot and heavy. Jacob trips into a large pool of mud, and he feels the cold and hot breath on his neck, the pain coming from his head. He tries to get up but he can't, the mud is too thick and keeps dragging him down. The monster breaks the skull open and removes the brain, smiling with a smile that was so terrifying, even a dead person would wake up from looking at it. The forest goes quiet and it stays quiet for the rest of the night.
