1 Ankou

The Ankou is a person who was the last one to die of the year. The Ankou collects the souls of the dead and bring them to the next world. People think the Ankou is scary, but it is really polite and knocks gently on the door before coming in. The Ankou serves this role for one whole year. Then the last person to die on that year, becomes the new Ankou.
