The Book is dropped

Val was always the one to give up quickly, not the hero type either, as he mostly scraped his novels at Two chapters and never went far. But when he reincarnated, he wished he had more than a couple of chapters to one of his novels. The cruel universe of his novel was a jumbled mess. Thanks to the world never being established. I guess saving a bloody teen is never normal

The light swung in the sky that was the wood ceiling. I looked over my shoulder at the grubby trunk walls, I realized it was a cabin because of how it looked.

I Let go of my stiff shoulders, engrossing myself in the mattress, as I didn't wake up with cramps and difficulties for the first time in 2 weeks.

My stomach vehemently searched for the smell of protein, and my hunger grew.

Hunger= 50/500

"I guess that's what it meant, but what would happen when It goes down to 0? Would I lose control again, or would I starve to death?"

Just thinking about it made me shiver, but just then. A little girl swung the door open, with a piece of meat on a plate, instantly drooling at the spicy smell-

-I sat up like a puppy at dinner time. The girl cracked up seeing my posture, much as I was embarrassed.

"You seem to be hungry, little boy."

I didn't dance around with glee seeing the small girl look eight years old; As one of her front teeth was growing, she was small as 4 feet and had that playful aura snipping out of her.

I looked at the meat again.

"Is it for me?"

the girl looked at me before shouting out of nowhere.

"Mom!! He's awake."

As the floor creaked with their footsteps, it didn't take a while for them to come here as the cabin was not that big. They were a young couple; The dad seemed to be a brawler having chiseled muscles and refusing to get out of his guard. Also, he wore gloves and a grey cloak.

The mom was more elegant as she had a more worried look, wearing a pink dress that covered her feet and blue hair like I did, even though I had black hair in my old life. She also had cherry-red lips like innocent characters in novels.

"He's awake" They screamed with the same voice, not missing a word.

I snatch the plate of meat instantly, as I try not to think about the couple, holding out the Meat with both arms before digging in, feeling the fresh barbeque piece of juice dance around my tastebuds.

...

They looked at me with white eyes, seeing the preposterous way I ate it, but who cares as the meat was glamorously dancing in my tummy, I was contemptuous of the weird looks I got, as this happened a lot back then.

"You know... There's a fork and knife right?"

The husband asked as I was gritting my teeth on the final piece.

"Oh year, it was just that I was starving... I'm sorry if it was inconvenient"

They tried to hide their surprise by covering their face, probably not expecting such a sane response from somebody that just ate food like a barbarian.

I looked over my shoulder, now that the bleeding was nowhere to be found.

As the family saw where I looked, the mom responded "Oh yeah! my joy here patched you up"

The mom looked at the kid, and the kid noticed the praise her smile opened wide. But she was just a kid, were they joking around? Or was I taking this too seriously... Taking it too seriously?

But then again... I almost died? Even though I was good now (Health 400/600), I was sitting at a decent point of health.

As I got up frisking the dust away from my body, the kid suddenly asked

"Hey little boy what's your name"

As much as I hated being looked down on by a child.

"Its Cale... Cale Col"

I told them a fake name because that orca was hitting up his buddies. He had given me this power, probably to experiment on me since I escaped, Orca had to be doing his best to get me behind a tube, as this was no power to lose.

I looked above at the blue screen.

...Universe? I have to travel to a different Universe?!? I mean I got reincarnated and all but how am I supposed to travel between universes when Im alive, did this mean I got a chance to go back to earth?!? That was wonderful news!

"Yes..." I clenched my fist, slightly impacting the bed.

As I got out of the bed, purely out of excitement... I tried to wave goodbye as I was caught by the family of three.

"Where are you going?" The mom asked "Do you even have a home? And you didn't even tell how did you came down so bloody!"

The husband and child seemed to be thinking the same, as seeing a teenager covered in blood falling on your doorstep wasn't the most common experience. Not on earth or not In a jumbo of a fantasy.

I sat down accepting my fate, as they were mightier in their grasp than a giant.

I explained to them a altered version of how I fell, telling them I got lost in the woods as a giant monster that I explained to be like grizzly bear started chasing me down as I fell down the cliff unable to notice how it lead to nowhere.

After that with a suprised looked they asked

"Are you perhaps a clencher?"

"What is that?"

They looked at me suprised, asking me "if I was living under a rock." Which I was before this moment if you can count the slums as a solid object.

But still I had implemented abilities in my novels, but as you can quess I didn't come up with anynames... And this was filled with "clencher" making me regret every single decision I ever made.
