What will they do when they hear of this stranger wolf?" Elder Sedrick always hated me being Alpha and always questioned everything I did. I never liked the man let alone trusted him. But I never had any evidence to be able to do anything about it. "No other packs will know! If they find out the goddess herself will punish them." I was standing my ground.

"Very well son, if you know what you're doing then we have no choice but to stand by it" Sedrick didn't look pleased with all as my father stood by my side on the topic. "You always side with him, Ralph! Bit biased I say" Sedrick was pushing his boundaries a bit too much, today. "You know I'm fair with everyone I have questioned my son plenty of times before on different topics, and he is the one who has come out on top many times before…I think we must have faith in the alpha who created the strongest pack in the world. Even if he is my son or not" Many of the others had agreed eagerly with dad. With the meeting finally over I went to look for my mate.

Looking from the room to the kitchen, I could not find my mate anywhere. "Jaimie, where is Anna? You were meant to be watching her" I mind linked. "Relax, we're at the waterfalls she wanted to have a swim, looking pretty good in a bikini Alpha" I could hear Jaimie laughing through the pack link. Quickly shuffling around I went and got changed and drove to the waterfalls. Anna was nowhere in sight. Jaimie on the other hand had the girls all over him. Hated it when he got distracted. "JAIMIE!" I glowered at him as he moved towards me. "What?" He was embarrassed as I put him in his place. "Where is Anna?" I asked losing my patience. "There laying down!" I looked to where he was pointing find a fully clothed woman lying in the shade reading. "What...But you said" I turned to punch Jaimie as he began to laugh at me.

Walking over my eyes never left her as they drank her in. Standing over her I got her attention. "What are you reading?" trying to play it lightly. "Can't you see or read?" Cold. My hopes were shot down instantly. I couldn't take it anymore. Turning around I headed to the lake. The girls all loved me at one stage. "Ladies how you going?" I asked buttering them up with my attention. "Good Alpha" They giggled as they cozy up to me. I turned to look at Anna seeing she was giving me the daggers. Well well well.

For the rest of the day, I paid no mind and attention to Anna. Just chilling on my own or with Jaimie. The day went long but smooth. All the attention I was getting off the girls was nothing compared to getting it off Anna. I was a lovesick puppy thriving for attention and got none of it. Feeling like a fool I left the group to their own doings and went back to the packhouse to do some paperwork.

Being back in the office had made my mood any better. Between the paperwork, I had to from the rogue attack and Anna on my mind. I was well and truly over it and having a headache forming already. "Alpha, you okay" walked Jessica. "I'm fine Jess, what can I help you with" She leaned in close to me shoving my arm in between her boobs. "Oh, nothing I just thought I might pop in and say hello" Great if anyone was going to be a pain about me finding my mate it was Jessica. As much as hated to say it about my own pack member. She was a leech trying to get to the top the easy way. "No Jessica" I'll hold off on telling her I have made. Hopefully, I can avoid the two meetings. It was drama I didn't need right now. "You can leave though…And maybe knock before you enter into my office" Jessica stormed off as I shook my arm out of her grip and gave her a cold attitude.

Sooner or later in walked Jaimie and Anna. I watched as Anna's face changed into a scowl. Fuck! She could smell Jessica in here. Jaimie looked from me to Anna realizing the tense atmosphere. "Yes, how can I help?" Jaimie perked up. "We wanted to go to the city to do some shopping. Anna needs to but something, has for a while actually…I'll make sure nothing happens and she'll stay by my side" Jaimie turned to Anna waiting for her to answer. "Yeah, sure" I glared at her not liking the answer. I couldn't keep her locked up forever. She would always hate me I presume. "Yeah okay, Leave tomorrow and take my car and card…But you can have two more guards on duty. I'm not taking any chances of something happening" They didn't like the answer but took it either way.
