The Long-Awaited Reunion
In accordance with the Law of Three Races, Ryan was not allowed to initiate any contact with the little boy that he met years ago on that fateful night. He was not even allowed to inquire after him.
The vampire thus gave his assistant the assignment to find out who the little boy was and where he lived. Ryan was under the impression that the little boy was not treated well in his family, so the vampire meant to save him and give him a better life.
Given very few clues from Ryan, it was not an easy task to do.
On the day following the incident, Angela literally sent people to scour St. John elementary school ground up to the surrounding streets for anything that could help her further.
The only promising item she found was a child's school bag. It was torn and sullied with rabid vampire's blood. It contained no identification card, but two letters were sewn very carefully into the inner fold of the bag.
