CH 1 : THE BIRDS

"Once upon a Time , There lived a Sweet little family of Birds . The Strong Father , The Kind Mother and Their Three Little Kids. The Father Had Worked Hard for his entire life to build a nest , so comfortable that the Kids and The Mother could spend their days without any major problem . Years Passed in a Blink and all three of the Little birds were now ready to become Adult Birds , They had learned to fly and survive But as Their days of living in the Nest were Ending , A Tragedy struck the Family . The Youngest Bird , while having the time of her life , Flew to every possible corner and on one such inauspicious Day , She befriended a Crow , She was still pretty young and did not know about various Birds out there . The Crow and The Bird fell in love soon after and promised to create a Family for themselves just like their Parents . But One Unfaithful Night , While Bird was sleeping in the Nest with Her Family . A Fleet of Crows attacked them , Even though the Father Bird was strong , He was quickly outnumbered and was put to rest . The Two elder Birds attacked the Crows but still they were not as Ferocious as the Crows and They Lost their life too . The Young Bird was watching her Lover Tear apart her Brothers and Her Parents . Before she could Do anything , The Nest broke down and she fell down the River . Her Last feelings were nothing but hate and resentment towards the Crows ".

Matthew was now drowning in his own thoughts after reading the Story . He absolutely started hating crows now. He arranged the Book back in it's original Shelf and started to think about the Story of Birds , He had just read . " Well , Your Reading time is Over ! " A little pipsqueak like voice called out to him . "Huh ? You are here again because you want me to play with you , Right ?" Matthew was already familiar as it was his Daily routine . The little Girl held his Hand and said " Yup , You guessed it Right , You are so good at seeing through me Matthew " She grabbed him by his Hand and off they were to spend another eventful evening .

Selina and Matthew were Childhood Friends . Selina was The Daughter of J. Xavier , The Undefetaed king of this Country , Rubis on the other Hand , Matthew was Born into one of the king's very own Governor's House . Being from upper cast families , They were allowed to see each other and play with each other .The King believed that Selina was simply Foolish , Even though She was Just Seven but the King had predicted it so early that she would be just like her mother . Kind but Foolish ,One of those people who are too good for their own kind. The King had Two children with His First and only Wife who had Recently passed away to afterlife . Selina was her Younger Daughter While Troy was his Elder Son. The King knew from the Start that The Friendship between selina and Matthew would grow on and this was a worrying Topic for him . Nevertheless , He had good relationship with the Governors who were Matthew's parents , So he let selina play with him . Matthew on the other Hand was falling for her every single day .They were still kids and giving up to his childish behaviour , He was too stubborn to tell her . He kept pushing these thoughts away every now and then.

Beyond th Gates of the Royal palace , Selina was lost in her dreams of Matthew . They were still too young to understand Love and It's Serenity but somehow They ended up falling for each other . Matthew believed he had to protect the Innocent Selina from the Clutches of This Cruel World and Selina always wanted Matthew to be the one , Who would Save her .

THE DAYS OF CHILDHOOD FADED AWAY AND AS TIME MOVED ON AT IT'S OWN SPEED , THE KIDS WERE ALL GROWN UP NOW .

The Royal Palace of Rubis was all Lit up in an auspicious celebration today . The Whole country and every citizen seemed to rejoice in Happiness . Lights , Candles and Royal Guards in Golden wreathed Uniforms With Their Long Black Rifles were positioned all over the Country. It was none other than The Kingdom's Princess Selina's Eighteenth Birthday . Usually Her every Birthday was spent like this but Today was special , Today was the Day She would Turn From a "Goofy Girl" To An" Elegant Woman" . All the Seven Governors were Standing in Honour and Amidst them was Matthew With His Parents. He Knelt Down before the Young Mistress as She Was passing through the Doors . Matthew Knew that This Goofy Girl Had still not turned into an Elegant Woman , All the Manners that she was displaying were all Forcefully Taught to Her and Sometimes , She was even Stranded In her Room without Food to Maintain Her Looks . He was very well aware of the Fact that King Xavier was looking for a Suitable Groom for her . Even The Governors were told to Help Hik on His Quest to find Someone who could well manage this Countruy and It's Political Affairs . Matthew's Feelings for Selina had grown past boundaries in these Years and Now as a Young Man who possessed Indomitable Courage , He decided to Confess His Love for her and What would be a Better occassion than Her Birthday Itself But Something Kept Bugging him , It was The King . He knew That the King would not allow or tolerate a Direct confession to his Daughter and Thereby He had decided to Meet Him Today after The Party . He knew From the Start That Convincing The King was Going to one hell of Ride But Still He Believed in Himself and His Love , He Believed that His Love would push Past all the Barriers.

Hours Passed By and As the Thriving evening of the Grand Party Came to an End , Matthew Saw his Chance and Informed the King's Assisstant about this. Everyone unknown to this , Went Home and For them the Day had Ended . As the Clock Struck Midnight , Footsteps slowly approached the Throne Hall . Even though It was Late Eighteens and Politics had taken over . King Xavier did not want to ruin the Traditions that his Late Father and The Former Sovereign , J. Millias Had Established . In a Split second , Matthew was standing face to face against the King .

"What is That You Wish , Matthew Dallion? (3rd Governor's Son) The King said in a Heavy voice while pouring a Glass of Wine .

Matthew could not help but wonder about Why the King was pouring wine in this hour But Not giving it much of a Thought He Asked for What he Wanted.In a Solemn Tone he Began" My Highness , I have come here to Ask for a Favour "
