drop off, home, varri clan

there were too many people to take to the high class district so we decided that it would be best to drop everyone off at the settlement.

it was a surprisingly short distance but it took a while because of all the people in the group but I could finally see the walls.

we got in no problem and we were greeted by jase and Taylor and as soon as Taylor saw his brother and grandmother he ran towards them.

jase came towards me and started speaking.

"so was that all the places?"

I answered him

"no we still have to go to the high class district but this way is faster anyway"

jase nodded and then spoke

"you had best be off then"

the nerve of this guy how dare he but I needed to be calm about this I turned around and left callen running after me.

it was pretty late in the night so by the time we will reach the high class district it will be pretty late I should probably visit my house actually.

I travelled the same way I did the last time I went home so it took two hours since my house was on the far side of the high class district.

we finally made it to my house it was still empty I thought that maybe my sister would show up but I guess not I hope she is doing well though.

the kitchen had some potato chips and chocolate so I shared some with Callen I went into the study my dads corpse was still there but I didn't want to think about it.

the study had some books on various topics my dad was a doctor specialising in urology and he also had a hobby of researching ancient cultures which now I know that we are descended from elves I kind of understand why.

some of his books looked useful so I put them in a grocery bag I got from the kitchen which also had some sweets and stuff In it I also grabbed a family photo album and my childhood teddy bear.

I let callen sleep on the couch and I slept in my bed it was a custom made cherry wood bed with engravings of dragons and silk bed sheets.

I also decided to grab my clarinet and soon enough morning came it was a sunny day but I knew it would be a long day the list of houses to vist was huge.

I woke up callen and we left my house just a bit emptier than when I arrived and on to the first house on the list.

the first person on the list is ryanna stone's cousin jordan who apparently was a shut in mechanics major who specialised in weaponry so hopefully he will be useful whether he has a cool ability or not.

the house was even more pristine than mine it was a five story mansion with a garden full of roses apparently the house was home to ryanna, her cousin and her mother who she said was a bonus if alive and a relief if dead.

I told callen to wait and i walked towards the entrance but before I could do even touch the door I heard the voice of a young man.

"any closer and you will die"

I assumed that the man must be Ryanna's cousin so I started speaking.

"hello I'm here because ryanna sent me to pick up her cousin Jordan"

a few moments of silence passed and then the man spoke again.

"why would my cousin want to take me?"

I answered how ryanna originally wrote.

"because your a mechanic so you should be useful"

the man started laughing and then spoke again.

"yep definitely ryanna just wait a second"

that supposed second lasted about an hour but I wasn't greeted by a man but a six foot robot with six bags on its back then the robot spoke.

"this is my mecha suit it is based off of man iron do you like it?"

I answered understanding what the 'robot' was.

"yes it is very cool but I thought all technology died when the apocalypse began?"

he chuckled with the same laugh as ryanna slightly cynical edging on diabolical and he started to speak.

"that's right but my ability gives me some leeway and privileges in that regard"

I decided to tell him that he could head to the settlement since we still had more places to go and gather people but he agreed to come with us.

the next place was actually quite important it was the varri household though the family was poor the family was so big that they just saved enough and brought a house in the district.

the more the merrier I didn't want to meet another Jimmy but I also wanted to make sure Luke didn't lose everyone in his family.

it was a two story house but it was very wide almost the size of an apartment building in the business district.

I walked into the house and was greeted by a bunch of people aiming abilities at me but I actually had try try very hard not to laugh or scream in confusion they ALL had blonde hair some had a lighter or darker shade but they were all blonde.

I cleared my throat and started speaking.

"hello Luke sent me here to bring you all to a settlement"

they all deactivated their abilities and a bunch of mumbling broke out.

after a while an old man came forward and spoke.

"Luke said that he would came back and get us who are you?"

I replied with my name

"I'm kai one of lukes friends"

the old man gasped and spoke

"oh my so your that boy he didn't shut up about the whole time he was here just wait a second.

EVERYONE PACK YOUR STUFF THAT KAI BOY IS HERE"

and with that at least thirteen people instantly appeared infront of me lukes family was on a completely different level.
